The property is one of the original farm houses located on the main street of a small town. It has been in the family for many years and our client just inherited the property. They were trying to have balance of preserving the old while realizing modern day living has its benefits too. The house had a large addition added using mostly old style materials, but designed with function and modern day luxuries. Our goal was to carry that theme to the outside.
Our first problem we had to address was how to transition between the first floor elevation changes. The lower room was the husband’s office. He stated in the future he may have clients over and it would be nice to have an area to sit outside. The wife’s main concern was to renew the four corner garden. She also felt it was very important to be able to see it from the kitchen area. Finally there was an old wishing well stuck right outside the kitchen. They both felt it would be neat to be able to incorporate this in some how. They wanted a patio area with a built in grill to accommodate there family and friends. They also wanted to keep a large play area for the kids.
We were able to pull this off successfully. We addressed the first issue by having a small lower level flagstone area. This area is large enough for 1 to 2 people to sit comfortably. It also provides a transition from his office to the larger patio area. We installed a simple small gravel sitting area opposite of the main patio. This provides our client a secluded place to relax or do business. Mrs.... told me she is amazed how much her and her husband enjoys this area. It is so peaceful looking at the small creek over a glass of wine.
We built a natural limestone retaining wall to create the patio terrace. The stone was chosen to extend the houses architectural elements into the landscape. Irregular broken flagstone was used to give it a more casual feel. We installed three Serviceberries into the patio terrace to replace some trees that were taken down during the remodeling. She was very concern that they would block the view of the four corner garden. We new they were crucial to nestle in the terrace, so we placed them for a couple days for her to decide. Fortunately she agreed they not only kept the view open, but helped frame the garden.
The four corner garden was designed to be viewed from afar and experienced up close. We wanted the space to have some formal structure while keeping with the casual farm house feel. Another natural limestone retaining wall was created. This leveled the garden terrace and helped associate it with the rest of the property. The four corner garden is nestled into the existing woods edge. This provides three distinct experiences to entering the garden; a more formal from the driveway, an open feel from the lower lawn, and a more natural / casual experience from the wooded area. The Plymouth brown gravel was used for the center of the garden. This helped highlight the stone post that was found during construction. The gravel also brings the sense of sound into the garden space. Lamb’s ear was chosen as a fun way to get kids interest in horticulture.
The balance of using the new to create the old feel is what makes this project a success. The property has already hosted a local historical society event and won an award for its preservation efforts. When Mrs.... can’t find her husband, she knows he is either reading the newspaper by the grill or resting in the hammock along the wood’s path.

The interiors of this high end luxury apartment spanning over 3500sqft in M3M GolfEstate, one of the most sought after societies in G-town, is an exquisite blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics dominated by abundant natural light & fresh breeze swooshing through. This 5 bedroom home belonging to a family of 2 and a shih tzu, had an advantage of 10 feet high ceilings, which contributed immensely to the grandeur of the space.
Formal area-
On entering the apartment, the visitor will be blown by the resplendence of the formal area. The use of different textures along with muted tones with a subtle pop of teal and tall palms, the luster of exotic backlit marble, and a very unconventional ceiling design helped conjure the chic and welcoming vibe.
For the dining area, we let the gift of natural light play a major role in making the otherwise narrow space look more airy and bright by not only using lighter hues of beige and ivory, but also by adding just a single layer of sheer curtain.
We decided to steer away from the typical ‘chairs and console’ look for the 10 feet wide and 20 feet long passage leading to the bedrooms, and went with an offbeat conception of a crystal chandelier hovering over a state of the art horn and bone round table, that captivates anyone and everyone.
The smart play of wooden reapers on the ceiling, under lit onyx for the front counter, and a dramatic black & white marble on the backsplash make for the perfect ‘fun evening with friends’ corner as it exudes the right amount of warmth with brown tones, and an oomph factor with the rich looking onyx.
Master bedroom-
The client's vision of having a cool toned yet welcoming bedroom was achieved by using grey and brown hues. The flooring, which sets the main color scheme of any space, was swapped with glossy grey tiles from the warm beige Diana, to maximize the illusion of a bigger space. We took the liberty of accentuating the room with a faux archway of wooden louvered panels, which not only complement the rustic yet clean TV unit and wall color, but also take care of the cozy and relaxing vibe. To add some bling and that luxury quotient to the space, we chose a good quality vegan leather for the bed with some brushed gold metal strips on the headboard. In the form of color, some pink accents were used on armchairs, rugs and artworks, which was a crucial vastu rectification to make up for the nitty gritties.
Home office-
The one good that came with the pandemic was the need for most clients to have a home office, which for us designers meant that we can bring to life our very own rendition of the oh-so-aesthetic pinterest-y den / office concepts we come across. For this space, we kept the design minimal, clean and timeless with a classic tan chesterfield, an exposed white brick wall, a dark ceiling with customized sputnik inspired color changing lights, and a massive workstation doubling as a gaming altar for the end user. The client’s only wish was to have an office that was fit to entertain his friends post work hours.

Our clients raised three children with a small galley kitchen and equally small eating area. The kitchen remodel was always a thought, but time and money was limited. Two children have since moved, married, and have their own children. Their needs for a larger more functional entertaining kitchen became a necessity. They wanted the ability to have the entire family together simultaneously. Our clients stated the new kitchen has met their every desire and even more than ever imagined.

THE SETUP
Once these empty nest homeowners decided to stay put, they knew a new kitchen was in order. Passionate about cooking, entertaining, and hosting holiday gatherings, they found their existing kitchen inadequate. The space, with its traditional style and outdated layout, was far from ideal. They longed for an elegant, timeless kitchen that was not only show-stopping but also functional, seamlessly catering to both their daily routines and special occasions with friends and family. Another key factor was its future appeal to potential buyers, as they’re ready to enjoy their new kitchen while also considering downsizing in the future.
Design Objectives:
Create a more streamlined, open space
Eliminate traditional elements
Improve flow for entertaining and everyday use
Omit dated posts and soffits
Include storage for small appliances to keep counters clutter-free
Address mail organization and phone charging concerns
THE REMODEL
Design Challenges:
Compensate for lost storage from omitted wall cabinets
Revise floorplan to feature a single, spacious island
Enhance island seating proximity for a more engaging atmosphere
Address awkward space above existing built-ins
Improve natural light blocked by wall cabinet near the window
Create a highly functional space tailored for entertaining
Design Solutions:
Tall cabinetry and pull-outs maximize storage efficiency
A generous single island promotes seamless flow and ample prep space
Strategic island seating arrangement fosters easy conversation
New built-ins fill arched openings, ensuring a custom, clutter-free look
Replace wall cabinet with lighted open shelves for an airy feel
Galley Dresser and Workstation offer impeccable organization and versatility, creating the perfect setup for entertaining with everything easily accessible.
THE RENEWED SPACE
The new kitchen exceeded every expectation, thrilling the clients with its revitalized, expansive design and thoughtful functionality. The transformation brought to life an open space adorned with marble accents, a state-of-the-art steam oven, and the seamless integration of the Galley Dresser, crafting a kitchen not just to be used, but to be cherished. This is more than a culinary space; it’s a new heart of their home, ready to host countless memories and culinary adventures.

Our client was in the process of building a new house to their specification in Fraserburgh. The centrepiece? A contemporary, open-plan kitchen that not only serves as a functional space but also as an inviting hub for family gatherings.
Opting for the Nolte SoftLack range, we integrated the Silver MatrixArt handleless trims, complemented by elegant integrated lighting. The main furniture showcases a soothing Sahara hue, contrasted smartly by the Lava accent.
The 20mm Dekton Trilium worktop exudes sophistication, while the 40mm Nolte Platinum Bough Oak table adds a touch of warmth. We included a full suite of NEFF appliances: a single oven, combination microwave, induction hob, ceiling extraction, and a full-height fridge and freezer, meeting every culinary need.
Special requests are what make a design truly personal. We incorporated a Blanco Subline undermounted sink in Alumetallic, a state-of-the-art Quooker Fusion Square Stainless Steel instant boiling water tap, and durable Pergo flooring. Notably, the elevated dishwasher was positioned conveniently beside the sink, based on the client's preference. The tall units were seamlessly integrated into the ceiling, complemented by an artful goal-post niche. Furthermore, the extractor finds its home within a stylish ceiling drop box, highlighted by a subtly lit stepped ledge.
Dreaming of your own bespoke kitchen? Let us transform your vision into reality.

THE SETUP
These homeowners had an outdoor kitchen built when they built their home several years ago. It was functional, but the aesthetic was underwhelming. The island was clad in the same stone that was on the house, and it had basic black granite countertops. They love to grill and host outdoor gatherings, so an upgrade was definitely in order.
Design Objectives:
Create an elevated outdoor space that aligns with the grandeur of the elegant home
Design of the new space should flow with the architecture of the house
Include a serving area with a beverage fridge, a sink, and a faucet
Allow for workspace in the grill area
Include island seating
THE REMODEL
Design Challenges:
Creating a layout that is in sync with the exterior architecture of the home
Sourcing the perfect state-of-the-art grill with all the latest bells and whistles, and placing in an ideal layout that maximizes functionality and hospitality
Specifying materials that will withstand the elements
Design Solutions:
A large curved island designed to mirror the curve of the home’s breakfast nook exterior
A separate sink area with a disposal and a beverage fridge offers a functional space for mixing drinks and serving food
Custom limestone posts echo the limestone details on the exterior of the home
Diresco Quartz countertops add elegance and durability – they are designed to be used outdoors in harsh climates
Decorative tile clads the sides and back of the island
A raised bed for flowers and herbs adds color and softness to the space
Undercounter lighting adds ambiance at night
THE RENEWED SPACE
From great backyard to true oasis – an outdoor kitchen makes makes elegant outdoor cooking and dining possible. The homeowners had their first outdoor kitchen cookout experience right away and report that they couldn’t be happier!

Initially, we were tasked with improving the façade of this grand old Colonial Revival home. We researched the period and local details so that new work would be appropriate and seamless. The project included new front stairs and trellis, a reconfigured front entry to bring it back to its original state, rebuilding of the driveway, and new landscaping. We later did a full interior remodel to bring back the original beauty of the home and expand into the attic.
