I met Brad a few years ago to work on special projects. I wanted to add some plantings around a fountain and near the pathway leading into the garden. I liked his ideas very much . We then took four huge holly bushes and created a wall for another new garden. More plantings were added to this new space. Then we went to the side of the house where I had space for another small garden which incorporated an antique bronze fountain. I loved the new ground cover he put in as it was a brighter green and it was beautiful. He put lavender and cream columbine all around the fountain, worked in the ground cover which all looked beautiful with a Deodora Cedar on the end. Brad sets up a schedule and prices and does everything on time, at the cost quoted and is so dependable.

With the numerous recent "once-in-a-hundred-years" downpours our property had drainage issues. River Valley solved our problems by improving drainage of a downhill sloping yard and driveway. Brad designed and incorporated pervious pavers into the driveway and parking area and created bunkers along the upslope to control the downhill flood, all without causing harm to neighboring properties and by improving the attractiveness of our landscape.

We have enjoyed River Valley's work on many landscaping projects at three different houses over a 20+ year time frame. The results have always been outstanding. The most recent project included stone stairs and a rock garden. We are thrilled with the finished work. My wife and I hired River Valley over 5 years ago to upgrade our landscaping, and we have been very, very pleased with their expertise. When we put in a pool 2 years ago, we did not hesitate to contact Brad again to design the landscaping that now surrounds our pool. We hired River Valley Landscapes to do an outdoor patio in May 2015. We wanted it to tie in with the farmhouse flagstone look on the front of the house. Brad was very willing to work with our not-so-typical custom plans to get the design that worked for us, and his crew chief Andy had the stonemasonry skills to achieve that look. A big thanks to Brad, Andy, Josh, and the entire crew.

I would like to thank River Valley Landscape for the landscape work they did this May; from the timely quote they provided to their professional workmanship. I have contracted with River Valley over the years, from installing sidewalk pavers, landscape designs & installations, to mulch for our flower beds. What I especially appreciate about River Valley is that they stand behind their work. An example of this is when they came back to replace stair pavers that were guaranteed for life at the time of installation, replacing them 15 years later when a problem occurred at no cost. I have already scheduled them for next year!

River Valley completed a patio build for us in the summer of 2014. We spent about 30 minutes with Brad describing conceptually what we wanted immediately and longer term, and Brad turned around a multi-phase project bid that worked with our budget and improved on our concept. We made a couple minor design tweaks before the project started and during the build; they were accommodated with no impact to our project cost. The crew was professional and efficient and knocked out our project in a week. We're very happy with the result - it looks exactly as Brad presented it in his design.

Brad and the River Valley Team turned our ugly, barren backyard into a spectacular outdoor entertaining space. His creativity was evident from his first drawings featuring our backyard as we could never have imagined it! Through weekly project management meetings with many professionals who played a part in the project, he coordinated everything. The result is an addition to our property that is not only beautiful, but five years later has proven to be genius in its functionality. We can't think of one thing we'd change. We constantly receive compliments about our backyard and are always thrilled to give Brad and RVL the credit.

River Valley Landscapes completed a outdoor patio project for us in 2013 and the project went very smoothly. As all projects tend to be, it was not a stress free endeavor, but we experienced very little stress throughout the process. River Valley's biggest strength was their consistent and clear communication (from their inside estimator to their job supervisor to their sub contractors). Another notable strength was the pleasantness of River Valley's employees and their sub contractors. Everyone was friendly and adapted well to changes and minor issues. I would recommend River Valley for any of your outdoor hardscape projects. By the way, the finished product looks great!
