Using the blue on this wall defined the dining area it also was more complementary to the Turkish Bridal Rugs hung on rods and the original Afriican art of elephant and Austrailian Serpent painting. The original Water Color and India art and artifacts from India are sitting on top of the draped handmade rug. I selected the mixed metal multi light fixture for over the table where there was none and ordered matching pendant for front door space. The blue window panels with gold trim tie in well with wall color and accents of art and artifacts in space.

One of the most widely grown pineappple varieties in the world– 'Smooth Cayenne' or 'Cayenne', 'Cayena Lisa' in Spanish (often known in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand as 'Sarawak' or 'Kew') was selected and cultivated by Indians in Venezuela long ago. It was introduced from Cayenne (French Guyana) in 1820. From there it reached the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, England, where it was improved and distributed to Jamaica and Queensland, Australia.
Because of the plants near freedom from spines except for the needle at the leaftip and the size-4 to 10 lbs -cylindrical form, shallow eyes, orange rind, yellow flesh, low fiber, juiciness and rich mildly acid flavor, it has become of greatest importance worldwide even though it is subject to disease and does not ship well. Mainly, it is prized for canning, having sufficient fiber for firm slices and cubes as well as excellent flavor.

The client was keen on green which was kept in mind while designing. A few characteristic traits of the client’s own personal style were identified by the designer and implemented hence the feel of the home was unconventionally ethnic, green and fluid. Thus the home was a result of the client’s own personal taste meeting the designers signature stroke.
