Rather than starting with an outcome in mind, this 1,400 square foot residence began from a polemic place - exploring shared conviction regarding the concentrated power of living with a smaller footprint. From the gabled silhouette to passive ventilation, the home captures the nostalgia for the past with the sustainable practices of the future.
While the exterior materials contrast a calm, minimal palette with the sleek lines of the gabled silhouette, the interior spaces embody a playful, artistic spirit. From the hand painted De Gournay wallpaper in the master bath to the rugged texture of the over-grouted limestone and Portuguese cobblestones, the home is an experience that encapsulates the unexpected and the timeless.

This Craftsman home gives you 5,292 square feet of heated living space spread across its three levels as follows:
1,964 sq. ft. Main Floor
1,824 sq. ft. Upper Floor
1,504 sq. ft. Lower Level
Higlights include the 2 story great room on the main floor.
Laundry on upper floor.
An indoor sports court so you can practice your 3-point shot.
The plans are available in print, PDF and CAD. And we can modify them to suit your needs.

Project Year:2016
This LEED-certified project was a substantial rebuild of a 1960's home, preserving the original foundation to the extent possible, with a small amount of new area, a reconfigured floor plan, and newly envisioned massing. The design is simple and modern, with floor to ceiling glazing along the rear, connecting the interior living spaces to the landscape. The design process was informed by building science best practices, including solar orientation, triple glazing, rain-screen exterior cladding, and a thermal envelope that far exceeds code requirements.

Form and function blend wonderfully together in this Arts-and-Crafts style house plan. A bold combination of exterior building materials elicits interest outside, while inside, a practical design creates space in the house plan's economical floor plan. To maximize space, the foyer, great room, dining room, and kitchen are completely open to one another. A cathedral ceiling spans the great room and kitchen, expanding the rooms vertically. The bedrooms are split for ultimate master suite privacy, and a cathedral ceiling caps the master bedroom for an added sense of space. A bonus room, accessed near the master suite, offers options for storage and expansion. Two family bedrooms and a hall bath are located on the opposite side of the house plan.

Graceful arches contrast with high gables for a stunning exterior on this Craftsman house plan. Windows with decorative transoms and several French doors flood the open floor plan with natural light. Tray ceilings in the dining room and master bedroom as well as cathedral ceilings in the bedroom/study, great room, kitchen and breakfast area create architectural interest, along with visual space in this house plan. Built-ins in the great room and additional room in the garage add convenient storage. While a screened porch allows for comfortable outdoor entertaining, a bonus room lies near two additional bedrooms and offers flexibility in this house plan. Positioned for privacy, the master suite features access to the screened porch, dual walk-in closets and a well-appointed bath, including a private privy, garden tub, double vanity and spacious shower.
