This renovation was completed with the primary goal of removed the carpet in the stairs which was not only difficult to clean but constantly looking worn in this very busy household. Ideally they wanted a durable, low maintenance flooring solution that still added character and coziness. The solution: Luxury vinyl planks! The unique and discreet metal nosings we used respect the clean lines and richness of this amazing plank in a non-commercial way. NOTE: While not all vinyl planks are created equal - the good ones are worth paying a little extra for!

Custom Surface Solutions (www.css-tile.com) - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 430-1215. This project shows new 12 x 24 tile installed vertically with offset layout pattern on wall and floor. Includes shower box with linear glass accent tile back and vertical glass accent band. Tile edges are finished with Schluter Jolly satin aluminum profile edge trim.

Bathroom - modern bathroom idea in Miami

Open feel with with curbless shower entry and glass surround. This master bath suite has the feel of waves and the seaside while including luxury and function. The shower now has a curbless entry, large seat, glass surround and personalized niche. All new fixtures and lighting. Materials have a cohesive mix with accents of flat top pebbles, beach glass and shimmering glass tile. Large format porcelain tiles are on the walls in a wave relief pattern that bring the beach inside. The counter-top is stunning with a waterfall edge over the vanity in soft wisps of warm earth tones made of easy care engineered quartz. This homeowner now loves getting ready for their day.

Master Bath renovation. Seamless glass shower doors accentuate the Bianco Carrara 12 x 24 Polished wall tile, 1/2 x 1/2 Bianco Carrara Mosaic Tile, and Bianco Carrara hexagon shower floor tile. Bianco Carrara 12 x 24 Honed floor tile anchors the room, accentuating the modern soaker tub, floor-mounted faucet, and hanging pendant. The taupe hexagon mosaic floor tile has a rough texture making it slip resistant - perfect for a shower floor. To continue the hexagon motif, we chose a matching drain cover from Newport Brass, which is easily removable for regular cleaning.
