This home office was designed to act as both a serene guest room and a home office with work space for two people. Both the husband and wife work from home, so two desk spaces were a must. We were working with a somewhat small footprint, so we opted for a daybed that can pull out to become a king bed for guests. We brought in soft mint touches with rustic, industrial twists. Designed by Sara Barney’s BANDD DESIGN, who are based in Austin, Texas and serving throughout Round Rock, Lake Travis, West Lake Hills, and Tarrytown. To create a cheerful bedroom that truly captured the joie-de-vivre of girlhood, we wanted to design a one-of-a-kind ceiling treatment. Flavor Paper’s multi-colored geometric Cuben wallpaper provides the room with an unexpected touch that urges guests to look up. A solid brass Jonathan Adler Puzzle Chandelier mirrors the wallpaper’s geometric pattern and adds a touch of glam. Photo credit: David Duncan Livingston

Blades of Spring by Jon Allen - Energy is depicted and a sense of motion and movement is truly conveyed in 'Blades of Spring'. Green is woven throughout this mostly silver five panel piece of original hand-etched metal artwork. This abstract metal wall art measuring 64" x 24" x 2" (162.56 cm x 60.96 cm x 5.08 cm) overall including suggested 1" spacing between panels. My unique, abstract metal wall sculpture is the perfect metal accent to add excitement and intrigue to your decor. This handmade piece of original artwork features beautiful silver and green tones and will be that modern touch you've been searching for. My signature-defined hand textured intricacies and carvings into the metal capture and reflect surrounding light sources creating enhanced interaction with dramatic illusions of depth and 3D movement as viewed from different angles. Hang it in your living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, office, or outdoors. This abstract metal art will wow and impress your guests. Display under natural lighting or make this original artwork the show stopping centerpiece of any room with track lighting or gallery spot lights for dramatic effect. Lighting and other environmental factors interact with metal artwork in a unique, organic way.

Yup, your eyes do not deceive you. This is a real fishing boat cut in half and mounted on the ceiling. The hand painted mural/ artwork conveys a peaceful afternoon in the ocean from the perspective of a fish. The client has spent many a fine day fishing with his family, and wanted to celebrate his hobby in a big way. The ceiling includes my client catching a big marlin, with the end of a pole and actual line going to the Marlin mounted on the wall. His wife Peggy is enjoying the breeze and his daughter is dangling her feet in the water. His son has a snorkel mask on, peering down into the great room.
