Haycon very recently completed the new construction on this 16,200 square foot building. Spanning just over a year in construction, this 6 story, 16 unit rental property was built with a $4 Million dollar budget. Constructed using Type 3 over Type 5 construction, Haycon coordinated the procurement and installation of penalized framing and terra cotta cladding, requiring an impeccable level of accuracy and expertise in execution.

Green is the New Neutral We combined white oak in a natural finish with a neutral palette of green, cream, and taupe to create a minimal and tranquil primary bedroom. In this inventive interior reimagining of a Romanesque Revival pre-war building which previously served as a whale bone cutting facility, simple textures merge with the beautiful curvature and direction of light within the space. Exquisite pieces, procured from the Charles Trevelyn collection and Studio Drift through The Carpenters Workshop Gallery add a sophisticated but yet aproachable charm to the living spaces. Objects sourced for the sitting area include a pair of original 1944 ‘Muslingestole’ or Clam Chairs by Philip Arctander that provide a distinctive and inviting character to the room. Accented with birch wood details and marble counters, these understated details provide a timeless elegance.

For the discerning client, this architectural precision living space was conceived to establish a true legacy. The bespoke walnut facade and continuous shelving echo the horizontality of the natural surroundings, grounding the home. Our design incorporates custom millwork and thoughtfully curated FF&E procurement to craft a serene, modern library that balances warmth and light. This was a whole home renovation where nothing was left untouched. We took out a few walls to create a gorgeous great room, custom designed millwork throughout, selected all new materials, finishes in all areas of the home. We also custom designed a few furniture pieces and procured all new furnishings, artwork, drapery and decor.
