Committed to strong environmental standards, Tbektu Design and Development determined from the beginning that the "Eleven on 7th" project would not only follow green development protocol -- but also that it would even become a benchmark for Low-Impact Development, from the purchase of the infill property to the 100% recycled paper used for marketing.
"Gunstock," was selected to floor the first home, Halcyon Halls as Teresa preferred our oil-rubbed finish rather than polyurethane, which contributed to a non-toxic work environment for the contractors and a non-toxic home in which to live. Since family is front & center in ELEVEN on 7th, a floor that can handle everyday life was crucial and our oil finish leaves the floor looking and feeling more natural, not shiny like a polyurethane, and makes for very easy touch-up and maintenance. The wide plank pine fits perfectly with Teresa's vision for both Halcyon Hall and the entire ELEVEN on 7th development.

The first information you should know when looking for a new bathroom vanity is the space available. This is very important, as you want your bathroom to look neat with everything in place. After you know the space, you should consider what shape, size, and color or finish you want your vanity to be. Lastly, it is time to find what features you want. One of the most popular types of bathroom vanity features is storage doors. The reason for this is because vanities with doors make it easy to access your storage. A high-quality vanity cabinet with doors can help change the look from modern to traditional, or vice versa, depending on the door design. Do you want the vanity to have a countertop, and undermount sinks? Do you want the vanity to have vessel sinks? Or do you want it with recessed sinks? It all depends on the look that you want to give to your bathroom, as bathroom vanities are certainly the focal point in any bathroom. We offer a wide range of styles from modern to contemporary, making it easy for you to choose a vanity that will match any style you have in mind. We also offer options such as wall mounted or floor standing vanities, single or double sink vanities, mirror or medicine cabinet vanities. These options allow you to customize your bathroom vanity to meet your exact preference.
Single Sink bathroom vanities are ideal for small bathrooms. A small bathroom does not mean that you have to waive elegance and style. You can find a single sink vanity for your small bathroom, which will help pull together your design. Small bathroom vanities can be purchased with or without mirrors cabinet set. It is important to measure your space before purchasing a small bath vanity to make sure it is just the right fit.
In the other hand, double sink bathroom vanities are perfect for master bathrooms. Sharing the bathroom in the morning can be difficult with only one sink. If you share the bathroom in the morning, then a double vanity will give you all space you need. A double sink bathroom vanity is not only good to share with your family, or the person you are living with, but it also gives an appealing touch to your bathroom with its space – looks like everything is in place here! Double vanities are the perfect solution for larger bathrooms and look elegant with sinks next to one another. See our bathroom vanities collections below:
Find the right local pro for your project

When our client purchased his mother’s home, the house he grew up in, he knew it was time to update while incorporating his preferred contemporary style. Enter remodeling specialists, Renovisions, who were hired to customize his new look.
The main challenge came with creating a more open floor plan. The kitchen was part of one large room, so making this new space unique and awe-inspiring while differentiating from the surrounding dining room was the goal in mind.
Renovisions accomplished this goal by first removing the walls between the dining room and kitchen to open up the space The idea was to draw your eye into the room with some interesting elements such as a 2-tier island, a functional and creative pull-out storage cabinet, sleek looking stainless steel GE appliances and glass mosaic tiles with stunning stainless steel backsplash in a Harlequin pattern. Cement colored quartz countertops in a suede finish and 12” x 24” larger format textured porcelain floor tile in a varied pattern completed the modern look.
Contemporary designs boast simplicity by focusing on clean lines and an uncluttered look. This is exactly what our client wanted and the contemporary styled frameless cherry cabinetry with a medium dark stain infused a masculine vibe.

What do you do when you live in a historic Craftsman house full of original architectural details, love mid-century design, and are a husband and wife with opposing preferences? The answer? Schmoosh them all together. While one wanted painted cabinetry, the other wanted stained. So we did both. We designed the sink cabinet to match the dining room hutch so there are elements in the kitchen that look like it was made 120 years ago. The sink cabinet and window have their moment as the focal point of that wall. But then you bounce to the other side and are surprised by a modern slab hood and matte glass backsplash tile all the way up, with no cabinetry so that the hood can just breath. Since a lot of the kitchen is painted, we went period-correct with vintage-inspired lighting and pulls and gorgeous thick mouldings. We curved the cabinetry to the back wall adding lots of extra storage in this galley kitchen and put it up on legs to create a lighter furniture effect. We custom-designed a hanging shelf rack above the window for additional storage and another wow-moment as the view when you enter the kitchen. They brought their love of mid-century in on the wallpaper only, so that should someone with different styles purchase the home, nothing more permanent would have to change. We danced from modern to historic, from his to her style, and the project came out with just the right balance between them all.

Nothing tastes quite like fresh barbecue food off the grill, whether it’s gas, charcoal or electric. Each has its own distinct features, and you’ll need to consider size, grids and general construction to ensure you’re making the right purchase for your BBQ needs.
Should you choose charcoal, gas or electric? This depends on your cooking preference, what you feel comfortable with and ultimately how you’d like your food to taste. See below for the pros and cons of each option.
Charcoal: Using charcoal briquettes, wood, or a combination of both, charcoal grills give food an unmistakable smoked BBQ flavor, yet cooking it may take more time and you need to be aware of disposing ashes regularly. Look for a charcoal barbecue with air vents to maintain control over the internal temperature.

This is a case study of a client living in Barcelona, Spain. The client's residence is a 150-square-meter home. The client's preferred style is a mix of modern and rustic country, predominantly featuring white, black, and wooden tones, complemented by colorful decorations. The client's objective was to find a pendant light for the dining area that would align with the bohemian and country farmhouse style of her dining room. With a dining table and chairs crafted from natural wood, she wanted the lighting to perfectly complement the overall ambiance of the dining space.
We selected this round, wicker pendant light for her, as it harmoniously matched the desired style. With a lighting coverage of up to 15 square meters, and considering the generous size of the client's dining area, we recommended that she purchase two pendant lights to ensure ample illumination.
Upon receiving the products, the client expressed her satisfaction with how well the pendant lights aligned with her requirements. We are delighted to share this case study with everyone, hoping to provide inspiration and ideas for their own home renovations.

2011 NARI CAPITAL COTY FINALIST AWARD WINNER
The homeowners purchased this 6,000 square foot Mount Vernon home as they were about to retire. While spacious, it was in desperate need of renovating. High on their list of goals for the project was having a large, contemporary master bathroom.
To get extra space for the new bathroom, the designer borrowed some space from an existing closet. Eliminating the tub—the owners preferred a larger shower—also provided some “added” space.
The new bathroom consists of a very large walk-in shower with double entry, built-in benches, multiple shower heads and a dramatic curved glass block partition wall. His and her vanities have been created for each client’s individual needs. Marble and tile used on the floors and walls features very specific handpicked glass tile inserts & designs.
The use of colorful marble counter tops and open vanity cabinetry is part of contemporary look of this project. A mixture of hand selected commode and faucets, rain showers, beveled mirrors, and custom lighting are all part of the detailed craftsmanship that went into this project.
