This contemporary/modern bathroom uses a combination of grey and beige to make a beautiful blend of Greige. The Charcoal stain on the cabinets is also a great blend of the 2 colors giving just enough warmth to the room. We used Marazzi Lounge 14 Spritzer 12x24 porcelain tile on the ground and the decorative inlay on the shower. New Caledonia Granite and BEHR- Studio Taupe on the walls.

Custom Surface Solutions (www.css-tile.com) - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 430-1215. This project shows new 12 x 24 tile installed vertically with offset layout pattern on wall and floor. Includes shower box with linear glass accent tile back and vertical glass accent band. Tile edges are finished with Schluter Jolly satin aluminum profile edge trim.

Location: New York, NY, United States This Loft was tastefully renovated back in the '90s, but was due for an update and an expansion of the kitchen and dining areas to accommodate the client's cooking skills and entertaining needs. EnlargIing the island and adding cabinetry to delineate the office, bar and dining areas was a priority. The bathroom was updated to feel like a tranquil spa with beautiful new tile, plumbing fixtures and cabinets. The concrete at this private residence was bare, but the walls were already finished and painted. This polish included a three-color stain application so it was imperative that we took the time to tape and plastic and make sure the walls were properly protected. By day two we were ready to apply the reactive stain. The homeowners selected a combination of Cola, Coffee Brown and Black. This combo created a lot of movement and warmth to the floor. A unique aspect to this particular job was cutting a tile pattern into the concrete floor. This creates the look of tile with the longevity and durability of a concrete floor. The tile pattern was cut along with a 10″ border around the room. The cuts were only 1/16″ deep since it took place after staining. The final polish brought the floor up to a level one, 400-grit shine.
