Ruggiero, RLA of MVR Landscape Garden Nestled among an impressive array of large rock outcrops, this Tudor-style home and garden offer panoramic views of its central ten-acre groomed landscape. From the house and terraces, visitors enjoy a vista of towering trees, spacious lawn areas, dramatic rock outcroppings, lush gardens brimming with seasonal color, a three-acre pond, orchards, and meadows. An 'integrated' deer fence protects such gardens as the vegetable garden, a Japanese style garden, and a perennial border. Forty acres of mature, deciduous forest completely enclose the property. A dense, planted understory and years of moss overgrowth carpet the forest floor and exposed rock, revealing the interplay between the designed and natural and celebrating the rugged vernacular New York landscape. Custom Surface Solutions (www.css-tile.com) - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 430-1215. This project shows new 12 x 24 tile installed vertically with offset layout pattern on wall and floor. Includes shower box with linear glass accent tile back and vertical glass accent band. Tile edges are finished with Schluter Jolly satin aluminum profile edge trim.

Edward Der-Boghossian Although the kitchen looks fairly normal, the whole property had a triangular shape which made it a very difficult floor plan to work with. The triangular shape of the kitchen allowed an interesting shape island in the middle of the floor, as well as different sized pantries to accommodate the difficult floor plan. The pull out drawers are made of birch with a dark walnut finish to match the rest of the cabinetry. We installed double uppers, and made the top layer of cabinetry deeper than the lower level, and also put some LED lighting in. While the floor plan was tough to work with, the results turned out great.

This is an example of a traditional partial sun courtyard stone formal garden in Boston for summer.

We went for lots of texture and foliage color in this small space. Ferns hold the composition together while the Persian Ivy, Rhododendron, Hosta and Heuchera provide color and leaf variation. This planting is partially under a deck.
