Rich Colors Color can literally ‘make or break’ a room. Therefore, it’s critical that you get it right, especially in the bedroom. Regardless if you prefer neutral tones, pastels, or bold color palettes, don’t be nervous about incorporating strong color choices in a classic style bedroom. First, pick your furniture, bedding, artwork, etc. and then select your wall colors last. It’s much easier to match the wall color to your furnishings than trying to match your furnishings to your wall color. Take your time and get plenty of paint samples. Keep in mind that the wall color should complement your furnishings rather than trying to match them ‘shade for shade.’

Italian bar cabinet upholstered in cream eel leather, structured in wood with laser cut stainless steel feet and a lacquered glass top. Standard glass colors available: white, blue, bordeaux, cream, moka, black or mirror. A wide selection of fabrics and leathers are also available to choose from (samples available upon request). Made in Italy.

There were some creative challenges to overcome. The current fireplace chimney had random granite stones speckled across a plastered fireplace chimney that we cleverly integrated with our design direction. Our goal was to take the current wallpaper side walls and adorn it with slats of carefully selected wood species and finishes that complimented the stones and the adjacent mill work. In addition, we added a much needed mantel made from a reclaimed wood beam with matching recessed light soffit and an integrated pull-out television set cabinet with firewood storage below. The fireplace facade was also addressed with a hand-honed blackening finish technique with metal strapping and rivet details.
