This custom wine cellar inside of renowned Pamplemousse Grille Restaurant in Del Mar, San Diego, California is truly an eye catcher. Originally built for Pamplemousse's 5th anniversary, this wine cellar proves classic and timeless with distressed maple doors and traditional redwood racking behind them. Vintage Wine Cellars and Jeffrey Strauss, famed Chef and incredible philanthropist in San Diego, have a long history of working together.. In addition to this cellar and multiple others in the Pamplemousse Restaurant grounds, we also had the pleasure of designing and building Jeffrey's personal home cellar as well. A little more about the restaurant display cellar: Originally designed and built by Vintage Wine Cellars in 2001, this custom wine room boasts triple deep redwood wine racking, a three opening door system, and room for up to 800 bottles. With plenty of differentiated display, the team at Pamplemousse is able to regularly showcase their true love and understanding (as well as fantastic collection) for guests coming in looking to enjoy a world class bottle in this world class restaurant. Recently, Vintage Wine Cellars updated this cellar with LED lighting, really enhancing the showcasing ability of this small wine cellar. With many incredible wines such as top assortments of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Cult Napa Cabernets, and more vintages of First Growth Bordeaux wines that you could ever choose from, it's no wonder that Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach, Del Mar, San Diego is still going strong in its 23rd year. This condominium is modern and sleek, while still retaining much of its traditional charm. We added paneling to the walls, archway, door frames, and around the fireplace for a special and unique look throughout the home. To create the entry with convenient built-in shoe storage and bench, we cut an alcove an existing to hallway. The deep-silled windows in the kitchen provided the perfect place for an eating area, which we outfitted with shelving for additional storage. Form, function, and design united in the beautiful black and white kitchen. It is a cook’s dream with ample storage and counter space. The bathrooms play with gray and white in different materials and textures to create timeless looks. The living room’s built-in shelves and reading nook in the bedroom add detail and storage to the home. The pops of color and eye-catching light fixtures make this condo joyful and fun. This home in Potomac received all new James Hardie brand fiber cement cedarmill lap siding in evening blue. The home also featured James Hardie brand fiber cement trim in arctic white. Along with the siding, the home received new gutters and downspouts, as well as a new Provia fiberglass entry door.

Whole Home Remodel - Wyncote, PA

Cordeiro Construction, Inc

This Wyncote, PA home renovation project was a comprehensive transformation that modernized every aspect of the property. The kitchen received a stylish update with a new backsplash and refreshed cabinetry, complementing the overall aesthetic seamlessly. Throughout the main floor, we installed elegant crown molding, repaired and installed ceiling drywall as needed, and applied a fresh coat of paint to enhance brightness. Stairs were meticulously finished with sanded treads and white-painted risers, elevating the interior's appeal. The master bath was revamped with a new vanity, updated drywall, and replacement of window trim, while the master bedroom gained functionality with added closet rods and shelving. We also converted a front bedroom and bath into a convenient laundry and storage area, complete with new electrical wiring and improved fixtures. Outside, the deck and exterior received revitalization through pressure washing, railing repairs, and a fresh coat of paint, ensuring enhanced curb appeal and durability.

This European kitchen has several different areas and functions. Each area has its own specific details but are tied together with distinctive farmhouse feel, created by combining medium wood and white cabinetry, different styles of cabinetry, mixed metals, warm, earth toned tile floors, blue granite countertops and a subtle blue and white backsplash. The hand-hammered copper counter on the peninsula ties in with the hammered copper farmhouse sink. The blue azul granite countertops have a deep layer of texture and beautifully play off the blue and white Italian tile backsplash and accent wall. The high gloss black hood was custom-made and has chrome banding. The French Lacanche stove has soft gold controls. This kitchen also has radiant heat under its earth toned limestone floors. A special feature of this kitchen is the wood burning stove. Part of the original 1904 house, we repainted it and set it on a platform. We made the platform a cohesive part of the space defining wall by using a herringbone pattern trim, fluted porcelain tile and crown moulding with roping. The office area’s built in desk and cabinets provide a convenient work and storage space. Topping the room off is a coffered ceiling. In this classic English Tudor home located in Penn Valley, PA, we renovated the kitchen, mudroom, deck, patio, and the exterior walkways and driveway. The European kitchen features high end finishes and appliances, and heated floors for year-round comfort! The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. The open trellis over the hot tub provides just the right amount of shelter. These clients were referred to us by their architect, and we had a great time working with them to mix classic European styles in with contemporary, current spaces. The 5th floor residence was a full-gut renovation, starting with the elegant and sophisticated kitchen and gallery entryway with checkerboard marble stone flooring. The divine master bathroom sparkles with Waterworks fixtures and herringbone floors. A full-length vanity with regal marble countertop accented by a triptych-style mirror medicine cabinet to match. The kitchen received new appliances lacquered cabinets and a porcelain tile floor. The living room now showcases a custom-designed wine cellar refrigerator with cabinets and bar built around it. The skim-coat sheetrock walls and ceilings received a five-step premium quality finish, with custom-made crown moldings and baseboards running through the living room, dining room, gallery, foyer, master bedroom suite, and guest bedrooms.

This multi-room refresh is a masterclass in how targeted, strategic updates can completely transform the feeling of a home without requiring a full gut renovation. By keeping the existing raised-panel cabinetry and investing instead in new countertops, a showstopping backsplash, updated lighting, and bold paint choices, this project delivers maximum impact for the investment — and the results are stunning. The Kitchen The existing white raised-panel cabinetry — with its elegant arched door profiles and traditional detailing — was retained and freshly painted in a crisp, bright white, instantly modernizing what was there and giving it new life. The real transformation came through the new materials layered in around those cabinets. White quartz countertops with a subtle veining pattern replace dated surfaces throughout, their clean, polished surface making the entire kitchen feel newer, lighter, and more refined. The backsplash is the kitchen's true conversation piece — a full field of diamond-pattern marble mosaic tile in soft white, warm gray, and cool silver. The geometric pattern adds visual movement and texture across every wall surface, catching the light beautifully and giving the kitchen a jewel-like quality that feels both traditional and fashion-forward. Up close, the variation in the natural marble within each tile adds depth and complexity that no painted or printed surface could replicate. The island received the boldest treatment of all — repainted in a deep navy blue that creates a dramatic two-tone contrast against the white perimeter cabinets. Topped with matching white quartz and fitted with an induction cooktop flush to the surface, it functions as both a culinary workhorse and a design anchor. Warm wood bar stools pull up to the island's overhang, adding an organic contrast to the cool navy and white palette. New lighting completes the kitchen's transformation. A cluster of three clear glass pendant lights with oil-rubbed bronze hardware hangs above the island in staggered heights, their Edison-style bulbs casting a warm, ambient glow that feels simultaneously modern and nod to vintage industrial style. In this transitional farmhouse in West Chester, PA, we renovated the kitchen and family room, and installed new flooring and custom millwork throughout the entire first floor. This chic tuxedo kitchen has white cabinetry, white quartz counters, a black island, soft gold/honed gold pulls and a French door wall oven. The family room’s built in shelving provides extra storage. The shiplap accent wall creates a focal point around the white Carrera marble surround fireplace. Modern Chic home in La Canada Flintridge

When our client bought this house, it was stuck in limbo between the traditional interior and a 90's modern structure. The direction we took was a combination of calm beige color scheme with clean lines and smooth surfaces. The continuation of the same materials throughout the house finally bonded all the different spaces into a singular home. The two guest bathrooms were made with Cloe zellige style tiles and custom floating vanities made from white oak. The same oak was used also for the built-in TV wall as floating shelves and base cabinets with a large, tiled center piece for the recessed TV and the electric fireplace. The kitchen also received some of the white oak love in the form of the Island and the recessed cooking area. The biggest issue with the kitchen space was the lack of proportions between the width and its length vs. the extreme height of the vaulted ceiling. The solution I came up with was a secondary line of wall cabinets to be the same depth as the full height units to create a wrap around and make the space more proportionate. Continuing to the master bathroom, here we have a true walk-in master bath suite, no door needed with this size of space. All the walls received porcelain semi slab treatment. (72x36 porcelain tile) a lot of work went into selecting the correct tile pieces to give it the effect of a single slab installation but without the added cost. All fixtures are by Kohler with their fantastic modern gold finish. The result was a perfect flow of calm beige colors and warmth of natural wood throughout.

Creating a Great Room and Interior Renovation in Villanova, PA

In the basement we added COREtec laminate wood flooring and again opened up a few rooms to create an open, bright entertainment area. We also whitewashed the brick around the fireplace and added new French doors to the outside. These new doors let in so much natural light that you don’t feel like you are in a basement at all! We tore down the walls between four rooms to create this great room in Villanova, PA. And what a difference it makes! This bright space is perfect for everyday living and entertaining family and friends as the kitchen, eating and living areas flow seamlessly. With red oak flooring throughout, we used white and light gray materials and crown moulding to give this large space a cohesive yet open feel. We added wainscoting to the steel post columns. Other projects in this house included installing red oak flooring throughout the first floor, refinishing the main staircase, building new stairs into the basement, installing new basement flooring and opening the basement rooms to create another entertainment area. This 6-bedroom Baltimore row home's grand exterior overlooks a tree lined street in the historic Bolton Hill neighborhood. The original large pocket doors in the first floor allows for uninterrupted views from the front parlor through the sitting room and into the rear dining room bay window. Penza Bailey Architects provided a complete transformation of the walk out garden level. The entire level was renovated to include a new kitchen, family room, mudroom, playroom, full bathroom and a gracious new stair leading to the upper level. The painted brick and exposed structure expresses the original "bones" of the home, while clearly modern interventions stand in contrast to suit the homeowner’s lifestyle. An alcove on the 1st floor was also renovated to provide a serving pantry and bar. The exterior received restored front and vestibule doors, select window replacements, and new rear french doors, all receiving historical approval.

This gorgeous beach condo sits on the banks of the Pacific ocean in Solana Beach, CA. The previous design was dark, heavy and out of scale for the square footage of the space. We removed an outdated bulit in, a column that was not supporting and all the detailed trim work. We replaced it with white kitchen cabinets, continuous vinyl plank flooring and clean lines throughout. The entry was created by pulling the lower portion of the bookcases out past the wall to create a foyer. The shelves are open to both sides so the immediate view of the ocean is not obstructed. New patio sliders now open in the center to continue the view. The shiplap ceiling was updated with a fresh coat of paint and smaller LED can lights. The bookcases are the inspiration color for the entire design. Sea glass green, the color of the ocean, is sprinkled throughout the home. The fireplace is now a sleek contemporary feel with a tile surround. The mantel is made from old barn wood. A very special slab of quartzite was used for the bookcase counter, dining room serving ledge and a shelf in the laundry room. The kitchen is now white and bright with glass tile that reflects the colors of the water. The hood and floating shelves have a weathered finish to reflect drift wood. The laundry room received a face lift starting with new moldings on the door, fresh paint, a rustic cabinet and a stone shelf. The guest bathroom has new white tile with a beachy mosaic design and a fresh coat of paint on the vanity. New hardware, sinks, faucets, mirrors and lights finish off the design. The master bathroom used to be open to the bedroom. We added a wall with a barn door for privacy. The shower has been opened up with a beautiful pebble tile water fall. The pebbles are repeated on the vanity with a natural edge finish. The vanity received a fresh paint job, new hardware, faucets, sinks, mirrors and lights. The guest bedroom has a custom double bunk with reading lamps for the kiddos. This space now reflects the community it is in, and we have brought the beach inside.
