This historic bed and breakfast lost it’s porch in a fire. All that survived was the porch foundation and steps. Drawings for the reconstruction were needed for submission to the Rome Historic Preservation Commission and for construction permits.

We completely renewed and reconditioned this old deteriorated side porch with rotting decking, trim, and wooden framed screens and framing by first reconstructing the frame using PT lumber and Structural Simpson Connectors. New Joists were spaced at every 8" oc to accept our new Composite Fiberon Decking. Posts were reconstructed, a new Post and beam system was installed using PT timbers and 4000 PSI concrete frost footings. Decking rim was 'pictureframed' using concealed fasteners.

The Kitchen was replaced with all s/s/ appliances and faucets and sinks. The counter tops are all white Quartz Counters and the floors are Maple: Very hard and dent-resistant - designed to handle heavy traffic and are very durable. They are resistant to spills and stains.
