Graffio Collection by Antoniolupi
AL STUDIO
The Graffio sinks define a pure and contemporary style. The very thin edge widens in the back for the tap and to the side as an elegant and functional surface available smooth and grooved to increase the grip and facilitate the support of objects or accessories.
Rectangular, square, symmetrical or asymmetrical, single or double with rounded edges or perfectly regular, all with a flush drain cover of the same material. The perfect balance amongst the shapes amplifies the composition possibilities of this collection. Perfect alone or with furniture. Integrates well with the Bespoke collection. The sheer volume of the basin communicates well with the elegant finishes and surfaces of the cabinets.
Perfect geometrical shake that meet, clean lines and thin edges that define a perfect perimeter. Surfaces that overlap, compliment and pair up generating new shapes within its volume. Finally, a sign, a groove, a “scratch” that gives name to the collection.

Great thought and ingenuity went into creating this dining room. With the homeowner desiring hidden, walk-in butler pantries, accessible from the dining room, but not visible on a regular basis, the Neolith wall with hidden doors was a creative solution. Spring catch doors open up to separate pantries equipped with wood cabinetry; one side stores dishware and the other sports a cocktail bar. CaesarStone Apple Martini countertops add a bright pop of color to the area. A coffered ceiling highlighted with rope lighting and a Rhapsody Chandelier creates the perfect dining ambiance.

This attic kid's room needed storage for stuff other than toys, so we installed tall deep cabinets for things like luggage and out-of-season clothing. Meanwhile, the kids also have toy storage galore. The entry door is a Dutch door so that the top can be left open so the kids won't feel closed in. Photo by Harry Chamberlain

A single-family home built on a lake in Columbia County, NY.
Hugging the perimeter of an old-growth forest, this family home is situated so as to take full advantage of long valley views, passive heating and cooling, and the natural windbreak provided by the treeline. The house demonstrates the sustainable design dictum, "Don't build more house than you need," and the design incorporates many energy-saving features and materials. The project was featured in the New York Times as a model of sustainable design and is regularly included on the Columbia County sustainable home tour. The main house, guest house, pool and pool house were designed to be an unobtrusive living environment on the 100-acre site. Landscape Architect Jon Piasecki designed paths, plant arrangements and follies around the grounds.

We had a blast helping Alex & Bailey with their kitchen remodeling project. They were looking to update their dated kitchen into a modern and sleek one, and adding features to increase functionality.
Here are some of the items they had us complete for the kitchen remodel:
- Installed new Sollid white shaker cabinets to provide more storage and give a clean & elegant look.
- Built a long rectangle shaped island with a single-level countertop.
- Installed 3 pendant lights above the island and 2 new faux wood beams to tie in with the new tile flooring.
- Removed the old appliances and installed 4 regular appliances.
- Installed new flooring called Lucia Miele 6x36" Glazed Porcelain.
They picked Monte Cristo Satin countertops from Arizona Tile, which ties in great with the rest of the space.
They chose Paloma Cotton Bevel Gloss 3X6" ceramic tile to add a beautiful backsplash in the herringbone pattern.

The balcony was finished with Amazon Grey composite from an excellent company in Brantford, Ontario. It was laid in a staggered pattern and framed all round so that the look was clean and regular.

Jonathan's outdated bathroom needed a remodel to enhance functionality and add a touch of luxury. He envisioned a spacious, spa-like retreat with modern fixtures and timeless design—a place to relax and enjoy every day.
The remodel began with a complete overhaul of the shower, creating a custom wide enclosure with an inviting Bedrosians Monet Marble floor in White Carrara. The shower walls feature Smooth White Matte Tile.
For a striking focal point, the shower’s accent wall was clad in Raku Ocean Glossy tiles. The shower is completed with a Delta Trinsic shower system in Matte Black, providing a regular shower head and a hand shower.
Five recessed niches were built into the shower walls, with Raku tile matching the accent wall, making it easy to store bath products while maintaining a cohesive look. A shaving foot niche was also added for extra functionality.
The original tub was replaced with a Signature Hardware Sheba freestanding tub in White, centered for a serene feel, paired with a Delta Trinsic wall-mounted faucet in Matte Black for a modern touch.
For the vanity area, Waypoint cabinets in Maple Rye provide ample storage with a warm, inviting finish. Della Terra Quartz countertops were installed, providing a clean, durable surface with a backsplash for easy maintenance.
With high-quality finishes, smart storage solutions, and a thoughtfully reimagined layout, the master bathroom now serves as a peaceful, elegant retreat designed for relaxation and convenience.

We tailored this major kitchen update to meet the needs of our client for whom regularly gathering her adult children and their families for home cooked meals is a tradition hailing from her southern heritage. The Wolf range, Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer, commercial grade range hood and strategically placed prep sink were designed to support her love of cooking and large scale meal preparation. By replacing a smaller island and peninsula with an expansive sixteen foot island we greatly increased both the storage and the seating capacity, providing plenty of space for family and friends to comfortably gather in this true heart of the home. Other must haves like the built in coffee maker, dedicated wine refrigerators and bar area, and a built in buffet niche for storing several dish collections make this a modern kitchen with traditional roots that is ideal for entertaining and relaxing.

This home resides in the covert worthy neighborhood of Garthwick. Surrounded by one of Portland’s most prestigious country clubs, beautifully classic homes, and oak trees that tell the stories of generations; it was a dream to breathe new life into this traditional cottage. The clients truly enjoyed the design process from start to finish, commenting regularly at how much fun it was to work through all of the details with the APD team!
Awkwardly located stairs to the basement were reconfigured and an unused chimney was removed adding significant square footage of space and linear footage of storage & countertop to the kitchen. An original window at the back of the kitchen was removed in favor of French doors out to the client’s new terrace making perfect access for alfresco dining with family and friends. Within an existing nook, we created a multi-purpose zone with convenient coffee prep space, wine decanting and buffet serving surface, and even custom storage for baking sheets and trays … perfect for baking cookies with the grandchildren! Custom push-out casement windows behind the sink speak to the home’s original architecture while bringing in an abundance of natural light. Clean lined and elegant fixtures and a custom plaster hood make the space shine!
The new kitchen is at once classic, casual, traditional, and in-keeping with the home’s original character while infused with the modern amenities including custom cabinets, storage accessories, professional appliances, & easily maintained surfaces.

Every now and again, I get a call from a client located on the small peninsula of Sandbanks, Poole. Sandbanks, sometimes referred to as ‘Britain’s Palm Beach’, is known for its fantastic beach and high value property. My client asked me to take a look at a Travertine floor in his kitchen which was, in fact, more highly polished than he had wanted. The polished finish had worn off the travertine tiles where they had been walked on, leaving a dull trackway running down the centre of the kitchen. With its distinct characteristics, travertine is a popular choice for kitchen flooring, although it is also quite often used in bathrooms. In any case Travertine tiles will need regular maintenance to keep them looking their best.
Unfortunately, the kitchen floor must have experienced some sort of settlement or shrinkage as a long crack has appeared, which ran along the same line as the dull trackway. It is not uncommon for Travertine tiles to crack due to wear over time, or even bad fitting in some cases. While the exact cause of the crack was unclear, the homeowner concluded that the floor was certainly in need of restoration.
Repairing a crack in a Travertine tiled floor
Replacing the Travertine tiles was not an option due to a lack of spare tiles, so I opted instead to fill the crack in the floor using Harbro Stone Filler, an epoxy stone filler, matching the colour of the tile as closely as possible. I left this to set, before sanding down the excess filler.
My next action was to use a set of Tile Doctor Diamond burnishing pads to sand out any scratches and restore a more even shine to the floor, as per the client’s request. For polished stone, I recommend using a set of four burnishing pads applied in order: Coarse, Medium, Fine, and Very Fine. I used these one after the other with a little water to lubricate and restore the surface polish to the desired level.
Sealing a Travertine tiled floor
The next day, I returned to seal the floor with a couple of coats of Tile Doctor Colour Grow sealer. Colour Grow is a colour enhancing, impregnating sealer which penetrates deeply into the pores of the stone, thereby preventing dirt from becoming ingrained within. This particular sealer also enhances the natural colours within the Travertine tile, whilst also providing long term durable protection.
Although the crack could not be made to disappear completely, its appearance was much improved. The customer was also very pleased with the long-lasting lower sheen provided, describing it as “the finish I had wanted in the first place when the tiles were fitted”.
