This might seem like nothing but is everything when we have the perfect tile layout be inline with the what we think is a centred drain. These are the kind of details that make my OCD sister inside so happy, we call it the centre flush drain happy dance. Kudos to @caisleydevelopments @4thdimensionconstruction with the help of @stonetilevancouver for finding a perfect subtle sand toned oversized porcelain. A large format tile in a shade and same tone value as our hardwood floor and one shade darker than our Baltic Birch flush panels for ease of cleaning and hiding dirt. When you want things clean I opt for showers with minimal detailing to be in shades darker than white. Cleaning becomes less treacherous. Also gone is this idea of ugly accent tile, we opt for uniform tile one material throughout a bathroom floor to ceiling and if possible all walls. Construction geekery 101 continues

This contemporary bathroom in Clarence, NY features all kinds of Gray. A Gray 13x13 ceramic tile is installed on the floor along with matching 10x13" tiles of the same pattern on the shower walls. The shower features a white acrylic shower pan for easy install and cleaning. The shower plumbing consists of a temperature and pressure control valve, allowing the homeowner to seamlessly switch between shower head and handheld for a fully customized shower experience! A cute white cabinet is topped by a medium gray solid surface top to finish the look.

This was a full bathroom renovation. It was a small bath so I installed a pocket door to maximize the area. The door and trim were finished with a mahogany stain and high gloss polyurethane. Clear glass shower doors were installed. A glass shelf was installed in the shower area. This was a 7 day renovation. Jay-Quin Contracting Inc.

In this beautiful older home, the Master Bath uses an original footprint but is a world away from the old decrepit space it replaced. This bath has a nice balance of soft color and cool stone surfaces. The huge shower has a steam unit, second rainfall shower head over the bench and neat storage spaces. Off camera is a huge linen closet. The natural stone finishes and pale gray cabinetry throughout are varied yet are so complementary that the space remains calm and ever so functional. Great plan brought to fruition through good design.
