This heart-forward project reimagined dark, dated communal spaces within an assisted living facility into warm, elevated environments that feel like a beautiful home. The goal was to inspire residents to leave their rooms, connect more often, and engage meaningfully with one another—enhancing daily life in tangible, human ways. Through crisp white finishes, layered dimmable 3000K lighting, and thoughtfully selected, durable furnishings, each space was designed for comfort, accessibility, textile interest and visual delight. Rich textures, Montana-inspired black and white photographic artwork, greenery, and purpose-driven zones—from a salon, bird-watching nook to gaming and family gathering areas—created a cohesive, welcoming atmosphere. The transformation sparked remarkable change: residents began gathering, laughing, sharing meals, and forming friendships, while families lingered longer and staff felt renewed pride. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the renewal of this cottage and to play a small part in bringing new life to its spaces.

This project was such an amazing transformation and was exquisitely executed by our Bennett Team. Our Project Manager, Tony Cicchino, and Designer, Sarah McDonald, collaborated on these two spaces to bring a whole new look for the homeowners. In the kitchen, the homeowners fell in love with the concept of a two-tone design. Sarah wowed them with her remarkable rendering featuring crisp white and rich navy tones. The contract created an eye-catching aesthetic that truly sets the kitchen apart. The standout features are the gorgeous backsplash and mosaic space above the stove. Our dynamic father and son team worked diligently to customize the mullion detail on the cabinets allowing their craftsmanship to shine and elevate the kitchen’s appearance. The renovations didn’t stop there! Our clients also wanted to give their main bathroom a small facelift. Our crew stepped in and replaced the cabinet and top, mirror and light fixture. They achieved a cohesive look by carefully matching the newest selections to the existing flooring and fixtures. We are so proud of the exceptional results achieved in this project and grateful to our talented team for all their hard work. Jordan and Rachel came to Phoenix Home Remodeling looking for a solution to improve their out dated master bathroom. They were also looking for guidance on how to make the room more functional. It was a fun experience helping them out on their first remodeling project, and with our designer's assistance, they brought their dream space to life. The project began with removing the shower, tub, flooring, and the pony wall between the shower and tub. A unique custom shower was installed, and a fresh freestanding bathtub was added to the space. Natural Prism tile was their choice for the shower wall, the wall niche, and tile the wall surrounding the bathtub. The neutral colors balance the geometric pattern creating an appealing uniformity throughout the space. The flooring had a remarkable makeover with the installation of More Wood Miele Porcelain tile, lending an air of refinement to the room and complimenting the additional design selections Jordan and Rachel made. Their dream shower came to life with the installation of a Delta Shower System, featuring integrated volume control, shower head, hand shower, and grab bar. A new frameless glass shower door further enhanced the luxurious appeal of the space.

Rather than repeating the island pendant lights, a handcrafted Tiffany-style pendant was selected for the dining area to create a more layered and collected lighting design. Its richly colored art glass incorporates the kitchen's palette of soft greens, warm creams, golden yellows, walnut wood tones, and deep soapstone hues, beautifully unifying the room while adding warmth and historic character. This intentional mix of complementary—rather than matching—light fixtures creates visual interest and reinforces the timeless, curated aesthetic of the luxury kitchen. Adding another deeply personal layer to the space, a painting by a local artist hangs above the dining bench, depicting the front façade of this remarkable historic home. More than decorative artwork, it celebrates the home's architectural heritage and the homeowners' appreciation for its history, creating a meaningful focal point that connects the interior to the property's enduring legacy. Together, the artisan lighting and locally commissioned artwork infuse the breakfast area with authenticity, craftsmanship, and a sense of place, making it feel as though it has evolved naturally over generations.
