Living Room and Family Room are one large room with a vaulted ceiling separated by a brick fireplace pillar. New skylights are double insulated with safety glass. The challenge was the technical work required to install a vaulted skylight. All new trims, baseboards and doors in the redone living room. All new, modern lighting was installed. This custom home is nestled in the historic Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas, Tx. The home represents a texas vernacular as well as stays loyal to the scale and styles of the surrounding neighborhood.

David Duncan Livingston For this ground up project in one of Lafayette’s most prized neighborhoods, we brought an East Coast sensibility to this West Coast residence. Honoring the client’s love of classical interiors, we layered the traditional architecture with a crisp contrast of saturated colors, clean moldings and refined white marble. In the living room, tailored furnishings are punctuated by modern accents, bespoke draperies and jewelry like sconces. Built-in custom cabinetry, lasting finishes and indoor/outdoor fabrics were used throughout to create a fresh, elegant yet livable home for this active family of five.

Location: New York, NY, United States This Loft was tastefully renovated back in the '90s, but was due for an update and an expansion of the kitchen and dining areas to accommodate the client's cooking skills and entertaining needs. EnlargIing the island and adding cabinetry to delineate the office, bar and dining areas was a priority. The bathroom was updated to feel like a tranquil spa with beautiful new tile, plumbing fixtures and cabinets. This darling young family of four recently moved to a beautiful home over looking La Jolla Shores. They wanted a home that represented their simple and sophisticated style that would still function as a livable space for their children. This photo highlights the lovely custom-designed and built cabinets by Draper DBS that feature a gray pearl finish that brings an understated elegance to the semblance of a "white kitchen". White calcutta marble tops and backsplashes add to the clean feel and flow of the space. Also featured is a custom designed and manufactured stainless steel range hood by Rangecraft. This cozy lake cottage skillfully incorporates a number of features that would normally be restricted to a larger home design. A glance of the exterior reveals a simple story and a half gable running the length of the home, enveloping the majority of the interior spaces. To the rear, a pair of gables with copper roofing flanks a covered dining area and screened porch. Inside, a linear foyer reveals a generous staircase with cascading landing. Further back, a centrally placed kitchen is connected to all of the other main level entertaining spaces through expansive cased openings. A private study serves as the perfect buffer between the homes master suite and living room. Despite its small footprint, the master suite manages to incorporate several closets, built-ins, and adjacent master bath complete with a soaker tub flanked by separate enclosures for a shower and water closet. Upstairs, a generous double vanity bathroom is shared by a bunkroom, exercise space, and private bedroom. The bunkroom is configured to provide sleeping accommodations for up to 4 people. The rear-facing exercise has great views of the lake through a set of windows that overlook the copper roof of the screened porch below.

This award-winning and intimate cottage was rebuilt on the site of a deteriorating outbuilding. Doubling as a custom jewelry studio and guest retreat, the cottage’s timeless design was inspired by old National Parks rough-stone shelters that the owners had fallen in love with. A single living space boasts custom built-ins for jewelry work, a Murphy bed for overnight guests, and a stone fireplace for warmth and relaxation.
