Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional freestanding desk dark wood floor home office remodel in Houston with gray walls and no fireplace

Even though I did this project through my own company, I still had fun with Ethan Allen....they had the room at the showcase across the hall from mine! I went with an urban loft meets southern traditional vibe for this living room. The wonderful old building was in great disrepair and my goal was to give this room a cosmetic makeover, with respect to " the bones of the building" to show the potential of the architecture and function of the room, if it were to have a true renovation!

This fantastic, eclectic mix of colors and textures will make for such a vibrant and dramatic bedroom...Lovingly deemed the "Coral Room", due to the vivid accents of coral hues in the custom created artwork, pillows and ottomans. The other gorgeous fabrics in the room are neutrals with various levels of sheen, tone on tone prints and an overall glam feel! Antiqued mirror chests, espresso wood tones, gold gilding, crystal accents and soft faux fur in ivory set a very romantic, feminine vibe!
