By lightening the space with bright, neutral colors and removing upper cabinetry — replacing them with open shelves — we created an open, bistro-inspired kitchen packed with prep space. The ocean view from this lovely condo was the inspiration for the colors and textures chosen in this project. Beachy blues, sandy tones, beach glass, and driftwood make up the materials. The glass wave backsplash with live edge in the kitchen is a favorite feature. Wood plank style tile on the fireplace keeps the space clean and light. We kept this small space open and airy allowing the finishes and materials to compliment the ocean view rather than compete. This beach retreat was transformed into a cozy, stylish, and inviting space to relax and enjoy the beauty of Pajaro Dunes, California. All my projects start with a palette of lovely finishes. These selections for the kitchen were the perfect beachy combo.

Influenced by classic Nordic design. Surprisingly flexible with furnishings. Amplify by continuing the clean modern aesthetic, or punctuate with statement pieces. Kelly at Farm to Table Creations used Ceilume's Century 2x2 tiles in White to transform the look of her basement and the results are stunning. Century tiles by Ceilume are Made in the USA, Class A fire rated, 100% recyclable, completely waterproof, washable, Greenguard Gold Certified for indoor air quality. Rigid, durable, flexible, and easy to install and maintain.

This Breccia Paradiso and Daino Real stone spa features a tub custom-made by Damon Battles. The tub was formed from a large block of rigid foam; the tub cavity was reinforced with wire and rebar before smoothing the final surface with mortar to accept the flat pebble tile.

In this kitchen, Waypoint 650F door style in Painted Linen Finish with Eternia 3cm Ancaster quartz countertops accented with Top Knobs Lydia pull in Flat Black finish. The tile on the backsplash is 3x6 Anatolia Marlow with Tide Glossy finish. Also installed is an Elkay Crosstown Stainless Steel single bowl sink with colander, cutting board, drying rack and drain and a Moen Align pullout faucet in Matte Black finish. The flooring is Adura Rigid Sausalito LVT 6x48 plant in Bay Breeze for the kitchen and entry step.
