The main entry of this home is the Dining Room. Really! I desperately needed a quiet storm of Classic Elegance, Romance and undeniable flair to set the stage for design. The modern and sexy lines of the Ashcroft Dining Table paired with the curvaceous and art-deco styled Penelope Chairs delivered the full package we needed. The rich wood tones, twelve-piece sunburst veneered panels and nickel ferrules on the table… plus the soft flowing lines and nickel nailheads of the dining chairs just take my breath away. My clients came to me needing a serious update to their Master Bedroom that was beige, dark, and outdated. With 3 young children, I wanted to give them a space that felt like a retreat; calming, relaxing, and serene. By keeping a monochromatic color palette in taupes and whites, with a hint of wisteria, I was able to incorporate their traditional cherry bedroom set into a fresh and updated space, giving it "new life"! Subtle silver accents in the drawer pulls, drapery hardware, sunburst mirror, and nailhead trim on the upholstery adds a little sparkle and romance to the room.

Design ideas for a mid-sized traditional partial sun front yard formal garden in Orlando.

Pamela's living space is modern, elegant and a little bit Zen. Our job was to bring in a layer of comfy romance, so I focused on furnishing the space with mushy comfort, pure white slipcovers, warm woods, breezy linens and beautiful flowers, while respecting the modern edges. We used soft, white-linen-covered furniture, flowing linen gauze curtains to divide up the open plan spaces, flowers, of course, and a chandelier to add twinkle. In her previous home, Pamela's collection of beautiful books were displayed on open shelves in a chaotic but organized way, but the bookshelves did not translate and so we housed the entire collection in cabinets on either side of the fireplace behind heavy doors of reclaimed wood.
