The clients of this project were very creative folk, and gave us instructions as to the wine cellar design WA details. We fulfilled their wishes. One such request was a French mural, placed within the arch display. The arch display also provides a convenient place at which to decant and sample wines. We added glass cabinet doors both sides of the arch display. They have cathedral detailing, which added elegance and uniqueness to the overall design. This homeowner had extensive collections of both high end wines and bourbon. Wine and bourbon require completely different storage solutions, so naturally, two unique and completely separate rooms were created to showcase them both. The homeowners were fantastic in meeting with our team to collaborate on a bourbon room and wine cellar design that worked within their special spaces and budget. The House itself has a rustic, yet refined and modern farmhouse feel throughout. The modern, elegant, yet vintage style look of the small wine cellar, especially, fit seamlessly with the interior design. The Bourbon cellar is not cooled, but resides in a shaded interior section within the house as to maintain a constant temperature. Additionally, with close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, sunny Ladera Ranch, a community in Orange County, California never really sees average temperatures above 80 Degrees. The Bourbon Room showcases a custom wrought iron door, and upon entering features a modular style show cabinet with multiple levels. Custom wine cellar doors, and custom wrought iron doors truly add that special feeling and look to your walk in wine room. A door used for a wine room would be fitted with dual pane glass as to better maintain temperature and humidity within. A room such as this could also double as craft beer storage. Beer storage, requires bottles to stand straight up as to not rust the cap, as well as compress any remaining yeast residues at the bottom of the bottle instead of mixed throughout. Craft beer as a whole has become an incredibly burgeoning industry, especially in places like San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in California, and Portland in Oregon. Our new Dura Supreme Cabinetry​ display is complete! This transitional display is knotty alder cashew stain with a coffee glaze in the Marley Panel door style. It features a garbage pull out, blind corner pull outs, roll out shelves, and a spice pull out. We used Viatera quartz in Intermezzo and simple oil rubbed bronze pulls to tie it all together. Being that the homeowners are music enthusiasts, a display case was designed next to the bar to showcase one of the homeowner’s guitars. The wood frame around the niche along with the ledger stone create cohesion between this custom work of art and the rest of the basement.

Inspiration for a rustic wine cellar remodel in Toronto

An unused formal dining room is converted into a warm, cozy hearth room. The fireplace was clad in real stacked ledgestone with a hand-hewn rustic beam mantle. There is no hearth to accommodate both the small size of the room, and to add a bit of a modern touch. Storage flanks the fireplace in the form of white painted cabinetry with stained wood tops, and rustic frameless shelving with recessed LED lighting on dimmers. The ceiling was painted a dark beige, adding to the drama and height of the room. The clients' navy sofa was paired with skirted swivel rockers in a modern patterned fabric. A natural-fiber geometric rug anchors the conversation area. Two raw teak C-tables can move throughout the space. A rustic wood and iron console table faces the foyer. This wine closet is unassuming from the outside, but it is anything but boring within! This homeowner wanted to display his best bottles in a big way. This custom wine cellar is so unassuming from the outside, you could almost miss it. A small windowed door lets you in, and once inside - the wine racks take you somewhere magical. Poplar with a dark custom stain was utilized to create the sleek and modern look, even though these wine racks are made of wood. White walls behind and a clean and natural wood floor make the wine racks really pop. Beginning at the top of the wine room, individual wine bottle storage sweeps across for bottles needing that extra aging time, not to be touched for years. Directly below sits multiple layers of space for high reveal angled display. Wine bottles are angled visibility as well as maintaining wet corks for proper storage. Mixed in here are coved trays for large format wine bottle display. These coved trays are designed and built for featuring large wine bottles horizontally. Having these adds to a unique and eye catching layout, keeping the wine cellar looking clean and interesting. Directly underneath lies another section for individual bottle storage, as well as room to store original wood cases.
