Old World Mix of Spanish and English graces this completely remodeled old home in Hope Ranch, Santa Barbara. All new painted cabinets throughout, with glossy and satin finishes mixed with antiques discovered throughout the world. A wonderful mix of the owner's antique red rugs over the slate and bleached walnut floors pared with an eclectic modern art collection give a contemporary feel to this old style villa. A new pantry crafted from the unused 'maids room' attaches to the kitchen with a glossy blue island and white cabinetry. Large red velvet drapes separate the very large great room with the limestone fireplace and oversized upholstery from the kitchen area. Upstairs the library is created from an attic space, with long cushioned window seats in a wild mix of reds and blues. Several unique upstairs rooms for guests with on suite baths in different colors and styles. Black and white bath, Red bedroom, blue bedrooms, all with unique art. Hand made custom copper and iron range hood. Oak wood flooring and Andalusian tile complete the look. Project in Malibu designed by Maraya Interior Design, a native of the beloved Malibu Park above Zuma Beach from the 60's and 70's. (Maraya's childhood home was one of the few that did not burn down!!!) Inspiration for a 1960s kitchen remodel in New York

We've designed an exquisite pied-à-terre apartment with views of the Hudson River, an ideal retreat for an Atlanta-based couple. The apartment features all-new furnishings, exuding comfort and style throughout. From plush sofas to sleek dining chairs, each piece has been selected to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fitted with new countertops, providing functionality and aesthetic appeal. Adjacent to the kitchen, a cozy seating nook was added, with swivel chairs, providing the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the breathtaking scenery. We also added a beautiful dining table that expands to seat 14 guests comfortably. Everything is thoughtfully positioned to allow the breathtaking views to take center stage, ensuring the furniture never competes with the natural beauty outside. The bedrooms are designed as peaceful sanctuaries for rest and relaxation. Soft hues of cream, blue, and grey create a tranquil ambiance, while luxurious bedding ensures a restful night's sleep. The primary bathroom also underwent a stunning renovation, embracing lighter, brighter finishes and beautiful lighting.
