The Aerius - Modern Craftsman in Ridgefield Washington by Cascade West Development Inc. Upon opening the 8ft tall door and entering the foyer an immediate display of light, color and energy is presented to us in the form of 13ft coffered ceilings, abundant natural lighting and an ornate glass chandelier. Beckoning across the hall an entrance to the Great Room is beset by the Master Suite, the Den, a central stairway to the Upper Level and a passageway to the 4-bay Garage and Guest Bedroom with attached bath. Advancement to the Great Room reveals massive, built-in vertical storage, a vast area for all manner of social interactions and a bountiful showcase of the forest scenery that allows the natural splendor of the outside in. The sleek corner-kitchen is composed with elevated countertops. These additional 4in create the perfect fit for our larger-than-life homeowner and make stooping and drooping a distant memory. The comfortable kitchen creates no spatial divide and easily transitions to the sun-drenched dining nook, complete with overhead coffered-beam ceiling. This trifecta of function, form and flow accommodates all shapes and sizes and allows any number of events to be hosted here. On the rare occasion more room is needed, the sliding glass doors can be opened allowing an out-pour of activity. Almost doubling the square-footage and extending the Great Room into the arboreous locale is sure to guarantee long nights out under the stars. The interior of the space is designed to provide a smooth, heartwarming, and welcoming environment. With floor to ceiling windows, the views from inside captures the amazing scenery of the great northwest. Uptic Studios provided an open concept design to encourage the family to stay connected with their guests and each other in this spacious modern space. The attention to details gives each element and individual feature its own value while cohesively working together to create the space as a whole.

Revitalize, update, and addition on a 1920's Old California home, thought to be a real George Washington Smith in Ojai, California. Wide, thick plaster arches, old farm paintings, comfortable, ranchy furniture give this place a real old world Spanish charm. Hand kotted antique rugs and fine bench made new furniture reflects the original style of Santa Barbara, CA, giving the sense this place is completely original. And much of it is, although it has been completely revamped, adding a larger stair case, wide arches, new master suite including a sitting room with a tv. Maraya Interiors completely changed the kitchen, adding new cabinetry, a blue granite island, and custom made terra cotta tile in multiple shapes and sizes. The home has a dining room for larger gatherings, and a small kitchen table for intimate family breakfasts. A high living room ceiling has been imitated in the new master suite with very large steel windows through out. Project Location: Ojai, CA. Designed by Maraya Interior Design. Old World Mix of Spanish and English graces this completely remodeled old home in Hope Ranch, Santa Barbara. All new painted cabinets throughout, with glossy and satin finishes mixed with antiques discovered throughout the world. A wonderful mix of the owner's antique red rugs over the slate and bleached walnut floors pared with an eclectic modern art collection give a contemporary feel to this old style villa. A new pantry crafted from the unused 'maids room' attaches to the kitchen with a glossy blue island and white cabinetry. Large red velvet drapes separate the very large great room with the limestone fireplace and oversized upholstery from the kitchen area. Upstairs the library is created from an attic space, with long cushioned window seats in a wild mix of reds and blues. Several unique upstairs rooms for guests with on suite baths in different colors and styles. Black and white bath, Red bedroom, blue bedrooms, all with unique art. The Golden ADU sits west of North Table Mountain, offering owners a private retreat so their kids' family can take the main house – all while framing epic Denver views. The owners needed independence with family ties, so we created a unit that balances privacy and proximity. South-facing design captures stunning plains and city sights for daily inspiration. Multi-generational living can feel crowded, but this ADU provides a separate, functional space without sacrificing connection. It handles site limits by maximizing views and light efficiently. The concept mixes sloped roofs and simple boxes for a fresh, modern feel that fits the landscape. A large deck extends the living area outdoors, inviting relaxation amid the scenery. Standard wood framing keeps it durable and budget-friendly, built strong for Colorado's elements. South orientation and big windows bring in passive solar warmth and natural light, reducing energy needs while keeping things cozy. Practical main floor with one bedroom, two baths, office, mudroom, and open kitchen-living – all designed for ease and flow. Completed in 2022, the Golden ADU is a smart solution for family living.
