This is a dual purpose bench/storage piece that was built to fit under and outside of the window. The bins can filled with baskets, large toys, cushions, etc. Fairly inexpensive as the unit was built from paint/stain ready 3/4 plywood making it strong and sturdy. Next to it, the space was filled with a custom inset shelf with hooks to put away the back packs or coats and shoes.

Inspiration for a farmhouse living room remodel in Edmonton

Custom transition strips made. Due to irregular floor heights and widths, a store bought transition strip would not work. These were custom cut and then stained to match.

This ski-in, ski-out condo features a strong Arts and Crafts influence. The interiors feature reclaimed oak floors, mortise-and-tenon carpentry, stone, and custom period details.

For the Orpen’s remodel we sanded and refinished all newel posts and handrail to ebony / red mahogany color stain, then installed our powder coated PC4/1 Single Twist, PC6/1 Single Basket and PC6/4 Double Basket balusters in Classic Black. To finish, we repainted the end caps and balcony caps and applied at least two coats of satin polyurethane on all the stained wood.
