Within the main living room, separate spaces were designed for mingling, intimacy or crowd gathering depending on the need.

Re-imaged and restored; not a detail was spared on the renovation of this turn-of-the-century cottage. Every element scrutinized to match the style, quality and lifestyle of the home and property. Within the bar, custom cocktails were created to showcase the products at their best. The bar had to be warm and friendly, while allowing a guest or owner to jump behind the bar and create a new concoction at a moments notice with everything at their fingertips.

Upon entering this library through the delicately designed leaded glass doors, you feel like you’re taking a step back in time as you’re surrounded by a sense of warmth, elegance, character and quality. The homeowner searched the country to find the perfect Crotch Walnut log for this authentic French polished library. The 36” diameter log was re-sawn to create booked matched lumber center panels surrounded by individually designed profiles that were scrutinized to perfection. The entire room was hand crafted and meticulously assembled on our shop floor to ensure the proper fit and finish. The materials, finish and construction techniques are reminiscent of those used over a century ago. The library was a part of a extensive remodeling in this Bloomfield Hills home in 2013-2015.

During the production of the cabinets each panel was painstakingly scrutinized to ensure the costly materials were used efficiently and artistically. As shown, the bank of drawers seamlessly continues the grain patterns from one to the next. Unparalleled Detail!

The lounge area is a popular gathering place with its comfy sofas, gas fireplace and large media screen. When there’s a big game on the hi-boy stools come in handy for extra seating. After the game, the adjoining bar and spa are great places to scrutinize the outcome.
