A throwback to the Industrial Revolution, this 3 light pendant features open metal cages, exposed lamping and gooseneck detailing that resemble true vintage warehouse fixtures. Real gas piping secures the pitted, rugged sand-cast shades, which are produced in a new Slated Grey Metal finish. This industrial look will complement a wide array of décor from traditional spaces to urban loft to chic, European-inspired eclectic rooms. We love it over the kitchen island but is also beautiful over a bar or dining room table.

This piece is one of our industrial horizontal filing cabinets that would look great in any industrial office or home office setting. It has been beautifully handcrafted of solid steel that has been finished in a vintage style patina. We can make this lateral filing cabinet in any size and configuration, but the one listed here has been constructed with four large pullout file drawers of equal size, with inner mesh doors, and in the dimensions of 72” W x 20” D x 30” high. It could be made with more drawers or less, depending on your needs. Locks could also be installed to secure your confidential documents or whatever belongings may be inside. The top is made with durable solid steel but for a more rustic industrial look, could be outfitted with any of the reclaimed woods you see on any of our other pieces. We even have a few on hand that have historical significance, but these add significantly to the price and have very limited availability. We can also make it in any of the steel finishes you see on any of our other items. The center compartment has been built with two mesh doors, but could be made solid steel or reclaimed wood to complement the vintage look. Behind the doors is one removable shelf inside the cabinet. This area can be used to store more files or office supplies. The shelf could also be constructed to adjustable (for an additional price – please inquire). The impressive modern industrial style has been enhanced by the use of decorative rivets. We can always add more or less or none at all. The filing cabinet sits on legs adorned with industrial style brackets, but could be replaced with casters for a mobile file cabinet. These also make great industrial dressers. DCS Industries installed two sets of 30-foot security fencing to enclose the perimeter of the property and prevent unauthorized entry. Composed of powerful, black wrought iron, the fencing has an intimidating appearance that is sure to deter intruders. However, if anyone did try to make a forbidden entry onto the property, they would find the security fencing virtually impossible to breach. The gaps between the fence’s pickets are narrow, prohibiting intruders from slipping between them, and the wrought iron is strong and unyielding. Wrought iron is always an excellent choice for security fencing because it is naturally durable and difficult to climb. The fencing also includes pickets that are curved at the top, contributing to the formidable appearance and adding an extra layer of protection against anyone who might try to scale the fence.

This home was themed to have an old world feel to it. In order to achieve the desired look, the wrought iron steel needed to be hand hammered, twisted and bent. The rivets match throughout the interior and exterior of the home, to bring each piece together. The handrail was built to look like it was riveted together and was installed prior to the stone to conceal the attachment points. The retaining wall rail was welded to appear as one solid piece of metal bent into a U shape. All of the door hinges, handles and knockers match in one way or another. They were hand hammered and forged to accent the beauty of the wood. The iron really brought the great room together. Starting with the five foot tall fireplace doors, the hand made branch work, leaves and handles make it one of a kind. The massive seven and a half foot diameter chandelier that includes 12 large, ten inch candles fills the ceiling with a wrought iron work of art. Lastly, the Juliet balcony with its curved and riveted design, gives this room the finishing touch. For their privacy and security we installed an electronic gate system at the entrance to the property. All in all, the combination of steel, rock and wood; truly brings out the old world feel.

This beautiful counter space is made from a local black walnut tree that was removed from Cunningham Park in Queens. Because RECO BKLYN mills the lumber and does all work, we can provide a provenance and story for all of our projects.
