Paula Truchon of Reico Kitchen and Bath in Frederick, MD designed a primary bathroom featuring Merillat Classic Cabinetry’s Rowan 5-piece drawer front in Maple with a Painted Cotton finish. Selections for bathroom include Silestone Quartz in an Ocean Jasper finish vanity countertops, bench curb pony wall and pony wet wall. The bathroom also features a custom shower enclosure, Kohler and Moen fixtures & accessories, and Jeffery Alexander hardware. The shower features Eterna 12x24 Wave Deco Silver wall tile with IslandStone Marble Spindrift Honed Nebula plumbing waterfall, shower niche and shower floor tile. The bathroom flooring features Eterna 12x24 Natural Titanio tile. Installation by client’s private independent contractor. “We love the finished bathroom! Our previous bathroom had walls and seemed dark and choppy. The new bathroom is open and bright! The design makes the bathroom seem much bigger and the shower is at least twice the size of our old shower. I absolutely love the faucet for the stand-alone tub and the shower. The tile with the glass looks wonderful!” Expressing overall satisfaction with the transformed bathroom, the client said, “Paula did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted and helping us pick colors and accessories. She was integral in complimenting colors and assisting us with everything from the tile to the cabinets, all the way to the handles on the cabinets. Beautiful 5 ft. x 5 ft. MB shower with fiberglass pan. Suspended corner seat/bench to sit, having a maximum load capacity of 400 lbs. 2 very large shampoo inserts with brushed aluminum edgings. Wall tiles are 12 inch by 24 inch staggered vertically with a mosaic inlay running through the center of the back wall, on the face of the suspended corner bench and inside both shampoo inserts. The floors are a 12 inch by 24 inch tile staggered with platinum colored grout.

The primary bath’s walk-in shower is wrapped floor to ceiling in 12x24 Vitality White porcelain laid vertically stacked, with a curbless zero-entry pan and linear tile-insert drain. Matte black Delta fixtures include a rain-style shower head, a hand shower on a slide bar, and a three-function diverter, set against Alabaster grout lines and a built-in ledge.

This bathroom remodel was designed by Lindsay from our Windham showroom. This remodel features 6”x40” Edimaz shower tile wall with Almond color, Anatolia Bliss Black timber glass & slate shower accent tile and Swanstone shower pan, bench and shelf with mountain haze color. Other features include Kohler drain & light sconce. American standard lavatory faucet, shower head and 2 handle thermostate. The trim is from Portsmouth collection.

We also installed a new Kohler tub and white subway tile for a clean, updated look. The shower niche was a neat addition to keep shampoos and soaps in their place.
