Expanded existing kitchen beyond former space to include the space including, and beyond, the large window, by adding cabinetry above and below. The window seat provides extra storage, as well as seating. Increased countertop space was created by moving the sink and appliances, while also adding a prep sink in the custom built island, with hidden slim storage on each end. A custom built table frame with a smoked glass top provided table seating, which was integrated into extra storage cabinets, which provided bar height seating, as well. The homeowners were involved in all of the selections, which made this beautiful kitchen a collaborative effort that turned out beautifully! Gorgeous kitchen in Redmond awaited a complete makeover, driven by the client's desire for enhanced storage, improved spatial flow, and, above all, a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Despite the house's generous room sizes and vaulted ceilings, the existing kitchen felt cramped, with low ceilings and a less-than-optimal layout. Our approach to reconfiguring the kitchen was bold and transformative. We removed the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room, opening up the space. The ceiling height was raised to create an airier atmosphere. Moreover, we ingeniously relocated the faucet and stove, optimizing functionality and aesthetics. Despite the kitchen's modest footprint, we successfully integrated ample storage, achieving a remarkable transformation in both layout and flow. But our renovation didn't stop there. We also treated the entire house to the allure of refinished and restrained wood floors, breathing new life into the living spaces. Outdated lighting fixtures in the living and dining areas were thoughtfully replaced with designs that not only complemented the new kitchen but also harmonized with the home's existing interior. We designed custom cabinetry (built and designed to look original) for the space that fit the homeowners’ design style. Our lead carpenter’s talented skills allowed us to custom-design and match the existing trim in the newly remodeled areas, preserving the home’s architectural integrity.

Thanks so much to Jess from JMF DESIGN and the owners for allowing us to do the joinery in this stunning beach house, which we absolutely love. The kitchen has a beautiful aspect out of a landscaped west facing window showing off the sunshine coast hinterland in a postcard like affect which draws the outside in with the beautiful blackbutt battons on feature wall hiding away the secret walk in pantry, stylish appliances and integrated fridges. Sitting at the huge beautiful island benchtop is wonderful with an easterly view over looking the blue ocean. The house has been meticulously designed with timber joinery featuring throughout out the house giving it a real warmth and natural feel. A Hidden pull down bed is a great feature in the office, not only looking great with a wall paper backing to match the joinery but making a simple solution for that extra bed ready to go at an instance. The separate cottage is finished in a Country style VJ 2pak, not only providing an awesome amount of storage but really looking the part. If thats not enough what about the alfresco area big enough to entertain all your friends with a full kitchen array of appliances as well as an indoor BBQ , designed with a commercial edge, but compliments the rest of the house perfectly. The office is one of the most elegant “man caves” we have ever seen! Retaining and repointing the gorgeous stone walls, we tore down the roof of an existing covered porch, added a new one, walls and windows to create this “gentleman’s office”. At either end of the room, this space’s focal points are the custom designed shelves we built directly into the stone walls. The room is finished off with raised panels on the ceiling and lighting recessed directly into the soffit.
