This two-year remodel odyssey saw Ariel and Robert put their design and build skills to the test to transform a two bedroom/two bathroom single-story home – that had never been touched or updated! - into a three-bedroom rental property that was warm and functional. Some of the highlights? Ariel and Robert’s parents’ laying all the flooring, Robert tiling the guest bathroom by himself, and Ariel and Robert tying the knot in the backyard in 2020. Ariel and Robert were determined to create a home that was wholly WFH-friendly, so they designed two separate areas that made working from home a breeze. Ariel’s workspace featured an accent wall in dark teal, wooden desks for warmth and texture, leather chairs for a contrast in material and was loaded with storage for ASR’s paint, fabric and design samples. Meanwhile, Robert’s space was nerd-proofed and approved with room to showcase his hobbies and support his gaming. Ariel and Robert love hosting, so their kitchen and living spaces were designed to maximize both space and style. The kitchen was kept in the same general location, but they opened up the wall between the kitchen and living room to make it feel more inviting. Robert built the floating shelves and integrated lighting into them while blue and glass tiles were carried all the way up to the ceiling to make the space appear larger.

A true oasis, LA meets high end, contemporary style in this chic gray and white master bathroom. The white and gray Carrara marble floor is the perfect complement to the high gloss, white, European-style vanity and the gray paneled wall that showcases the freestanding soaking tub. The tub is crowned with a huge skylight. The large glass shower has white and gray Carrara marble walls. The Carrara marble floor tiles were laid in a herringbone pattern. We gutted and renovated this entire modern Colonial home in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Introduced to the homeowners through the wife’s parents, we updated and expanded the home to create modern, clean spaces for the family. This farmhouse style home was already lovely and inviting. We just added some finishing touches in the kitchen and expanded and enhanced the basement. In the kitchen we enlarged the center island so that it is now five-feet-wide. We rebuilt the sides, added the cross-back, “x”, design to each end and installed new fixtures. We also installed new counters and painted all the cabinetry. Already the center of the home’s everyday living and entertaining, there’s now even more space for gathering. We expanded the already finished basement to include a main room with kitchenet, a multi-purpose/guestroom with a murphy bed, full bathroom, and a home theatre. The COREtec vinyl flooring is waterproof and strong enough to take the beating of everyday use. Gorgeous kitchen in Redmond awaited a complete makeover, driven by the client's desire for enhanced storage, improved spatial flow, and, above all, a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Despite the house's generous room sizes and vaulted ceilings, the existing kitchen felt cramped, with low ceilings and a less-than-optimal layout. Our approach to reconfiguring the kitchen was bold and transformative. We removed the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room, opening up the space. The ceiling height was raised to create an airier atmosphere. Moreover, we ingeniously relocated the faucet and stove, optimizing functionality and aesthetics. Despite the kitchen's modest footprint, we successfully integrated ample storage, achieving a remarkable transformation in both layout and flow. But our renovation didn't stop there. We also treated the entire house to the allure of refinished and restrained wood floors, breathing new life into the living spaces. Outdated lighting fixtures in the living and dining areas were thoughtfully replaced with designs that not only complemented the new kitchen but also harmonized with the home's existing interior. The room’s focal point is the gas fireplace, which is surrounded by white Carrara marble and is topped with a white wood, crown moulding mantel. The office is one of the most elegant “man caves” we have ever seen! Retaining and repointing the gorgeous stone walls, we tore down the roof of an existing covered porch, added a new one, walls and windows to create this “gentleman’s office”. At either end of the room, this space’s focal points are the custom designed shelves we built directly into the stone walls.
