This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! As you settle into the tranquil surroundings, you'll notice a row of privacy trees standing tall behind the seating area, creating a natural screen that shields you from the outside world. These lush green trees provide a sense of seclusion, allowing you to enjoy quiet moments in your own private sanctuary. Under your feet, the floor is adorned with crushed rocks, adding a rustic touch to the setting. The texture of the rocks complements the natural surroundings, enhancing the earthy and organic feel of the backyard. As you walk on the uneven surface, you can feel a sense of grounding and connection to the beauty of nature. The combination of the cozy chairs, the small round table, the privacy trees, and the crushed rock floor creates a harmonious and welcoming outdoor space. It becomes an idyllic spot to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, offering solace and a connection to nature that rejuvenates the soul. With every passing moment, you'll find yourself immersed in the gentle rustling of leaves, the subtle fragrance of the privacy trees, and the soothing crunch of the rocks beneath your feet. Whether you're seeking moments of quiet contemplation or a place to share cherished conversations with a loved one, this backyard haven becomes your personal oasis of peace and tranquility.

An eclectic, modern media room with bold accents of black metals, natural woods, and terra cotta tile floors. We wanted to design a fresh and modern hangout spot for these clients, whether they’re hosting friends or watching the game, this entertainment room had to fit every occasion. We designed a full home bar, which looks dashing right next to the wooden accent wall and foosball table. The sitting area is full of luxe seating, with a large gray sofa and warm brown leather arm chairs. Additional seating was snuck in via black metal chairs that fit seamlessly into the built-in desk and sideboard table (behind the sofa).... In total, there is plenty of seats for a large party, which is exactly what our client needed. Lastly, we updated the french doors with a chic, modern black trim, a small detail that offered an instant pick-me-up. The black trim also looks effortless against the black accents.
