Our Lanai Collection cools the sunroom with its contemporary features—shelter style arms and bench seating. Pieces are crafted by hand using naturally weathered rattan and then covered in creamy colored covers that are not only water repellant but treated to resist the effects of the sun. Lanai is beautifully signed for covered porches and indoor sunrooms; it is not suitable for outdoor (uncovered) seating areas.

This La Jolla condo, located steps away from Wind n Sea beach was our client's third home we completed for them in San Diego. As vacation rental property owners, this Texas couple plans on making this their retirement escape in the years to come. In the meantime, the design had to be suitable for short time renters. Keeping our clients' needs in mind, the interior design was geared to appeal to the out of towners. With a focus on durability, clean, simple and modern coastal design, we're all pretty certain this little gem is going to stand out amongst its competition. The formula is pretty simple, but our job is to make it happen! :) Most of the furnishings were custom-made to fit the space perfectly, taking advantage of every inch and maximizing the space. Doubling up 2 full size beds in each of the guest rooms made this vacation rental property perfect for families and large groups. One of our biggest challenges? Finding pieces we loved that had no metal accents! ((The salt air takes its toll on those pieces faster than you'd ever guess when you're this close to the ocean!) The Plaza Condominiums pursued J Hill Interior Designs to find a solution for a challenging lobby situation. The demographic of this condominium complex is very diverse, as was the design style of its HOA members. Moreover, there was existing furniture that needed to be incorporated into the design, all with budgets, and different design desires to keep in mind. This contemporary 4-piece sectional set is a truly ideal statement for the modern patio. This is a remodel of small home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, just off Sunset Blvd. The goals of this project are to reconfigure the floor plan and to meet current homeowner's needs and update its aesthetics to current tastes suitable in that area. To achieve these goals, the interior of the house was completely gutted and reconfigured and the exterior was removed and wrapped with new siding. Since the house is close to ocean and surrounded by celebrities' mansions, the interior design is slightly eclectic with a mix of coastal casual with a hint of modern Hollywood glam.

The outstanding characteristics of the model "Twist" is its absolute novelty in the table range as well as its fascinating charming way of combinability. Three mouth-blown cones are arranged like an equilateral triangle. A slightly curved glass top connects the cones. Glass as used material mystifies the cones, appearing like icicles. The Twist is a marvelous composition, which leads the thoughts far away to the famous glassblowers of the Venetian Islands. This coffee or lounge table is excellently suitable for grouping arrangements because of its adaptable shape. The unexpected Twist becomes clear in the swings of the outside lines and the intermediate spaces. The Twist is available in clear white glass, with mirror effect optics or in grey colored glass.

Placed within an idyllic beach community, this modern family home is filled with both playful and functional spaces. Natural light reflects throughout and oversized openings allow for movement to the outdoor spaces. Custom millwork completes the kitchen with concealed appliances, and creates a space well suited for entertaining. Accents of concrete add strength and architectural context to the spaces. Livable finishes of white oak and quartz are simple and hardworking. High ceilings in the bedroom level allowed for creativity in children’s spaces, and the addition of colour brings in that sense of playfulness. Art pieces reflect the owner’s time spent abroad, and exude their love of life – which is fitting in a place where the only boundaries to roam are the ocean and railways. Seeking a personal retreat by the Atlantic coast, our client found a new home in Lisbon, overlooking the water. The centuries-old building had been revived by a local architect some years prior, preserving its elegant historical features while updating the structures and fixtures. Our team uplifted the interior with new finishes, and furnished it with a refined composition of walnut and slender black metalwork, softened by cream and anthracite fabrics that recall the architectural stonework. The outcome aspires to an understated, welcoming warmth, while maintaining a bright, graceful interior suitable to the airy views. The living area revolves around a locally-designed travertine coffee table, situated in conversational balance by sofas that appear suspended just beneath the horizon. The arrangement seamlessly blends with the porous stone hearth, set upon a hand-tufted New Zealand wool rug. A walnut dining set bestows a Scandinavian dualism: elegance for formal dinners, yet sturdy practicality for quick meals. Beyond, an Italian-made buffet also serves as a media cabinet. Marble consoles punctuate the river view, their frames complementing the slender rods of the ceiling fixtures. Handmade in Portugal, the sleeping setups feature beds with textured upholstery upon joinery, matching walnut and marble nightstands, light linens, and contrasting woven bedside rugs. Iconic bedside lamps with thin black metal supports finish the scene.

This 25-sqm apartment is located on the ground floor without an elevator. The studio is furnished with a double sofa bed (extra linens are provided), dining table and chairs and kitchenette. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection (1/Gbps) suitable for working from home and making video calls.
