We added a large room just outside the old kitchen window and completely renovated the kitchen. We removed everything including the flooring. We added lighting, solatube, new cabinets, counters, appliances, and faucets. Finally, we repainted the ceiling, walls, doors and trim. It was a complete make over. The owner couldn't have been happier with the new space.

This Scandinavian inspired blue and white bathroom features a cheerful encaustic cement tiled floor and shower pan with a bold geometric pattern. A floating natural finished maple vanity offers lots of storage via hidden drawers. Niches flanking the vanity showcase matching natural maple shelves. The blue color used in the floor tiles was matched in the Twilight Blue grout selected for the penny tiles. This homeowner hired Sweatman-Young, Inc. to tear out existing kitchen including the dropped soffit, add a solatube in the living room, perform plumbing and electrical services, extend gas line for the range, insulate where soffits were removed, drywall repairs, paint the kitchen and dining room, install custom cabinets, slab countertops, tile backsplash, sheet viny flooring, new base molding stained to match the new cabinets, install new light fixtures, install a new gas range and dishwasher and microwave/vent hood combo.

The bath is inviting, thanks to a smart design and thoughtful interior decorating. The couple has personal spaces so they can both get ready for work with individual sinks, mirrors, and AC power outlets with a tall storage cabinet separating the two areas. The Plato “mission” style white oak cabinets in a warm Briar color feature soft close/glide drawers complementing the sand-colored Silestone countertops that make the shape of the white Alape sinks standout as a show piece.
