The vintage secretary was finished by Ariana Hoffman & Co. / AH & Co. We began with Benjamin Moore, HC-158, Newburg Green in a high sheen and then a glaze that was applied to the top. We left the original wood finish on the interior and mullions. The desk chair is also vintage - painted and re-upholstered.

This piece is one of our industrial horizontal filing cabinets that would look great in any industrial office or home office setting. It has been beautifully handcrafted of solid steel that has been finished in a vintage style patina. We can make this lateral filing cabinet in any size and configuration, but the one listed here has been constructed with four large pullout file drawers of equal size, with inner mesh doors, and in the dimensions of 72” W x 20” D x 30” high. It could be made with more drawers or less, depending on your needs. Locks could also be installed to secure your confidential documents or whatever belongings may be inside. The top is made with durable solid steel but for a more rustic industrial look, could be outfitted with any of the reclaimed woods you see on any of our other pieces. We even have a few on hand that have historical significance, but these add significantly to the price and have very limited availability. We can also make it in any of the steel finishes you see on any of our other items. The center compartment has been built with two mesh doors, but could be made solid steel or reclaimed wood to complement the vintage look. Behind the doors is one removable shelf inside the cabinet. This area can be used to store more files or office supplies. The shelf could also be constructed to adjustable (for an additional price – please inquire). The impressive modern industrial style has been enhanced by the use of decorative rivets. We can always add more or less or none at all. The filing cabinet sits on legs adorned with industrial style brackets, but could be replaced with casters for a mobile file cabinet. These also make great industrial dressers. This piece is our handmade solid walnut topped farmhouse table. It also has walnut legs with amazing industrial supports and accents. This table is customizable and can fit any vintage, rustic or minimalist décor in modern or urban settings. It could also make a gorgeous display table in a retail outlet. A smaller version could act as a lovely kitchen island in your home or loft. If you would like yours to have a more industrial look; more bolts could be added as well as rivets. This particular table can be made smaller to be used as a desk or work station in a home office or larger as a conference table with holes added in the top to allow AV cables and components to exit. This particular unit is 72” W X 35” D X 30”H, the table top is approximately 2” H, and the legs are 4” W x 4” D, but can be made in any dimensions to suit your style and décor . The wood on this piece is walnut but can be done in any species you prefer such as oak or even reclaimed wood. A luxury residence in Tahoe, California featuring wire-brushed select Bavarian Oak wide-plank wood floors in a custom finish. The "select" indicates that the wood planks that were chosen show fewer knots and distressing. Arrigoni Woods specializes in wide-plank wood flooring, both recycled and engineered. Our wood comes from old-growth Western European forests that are sustainably managed. Arrigoni's uniquely engineered wood (which has the look and feel of solid wood) features a trio of layered engineered planks, with a middle layer of transversely laid vertical grain spruce, providing a solid core.

Our Nashua client needed a radical kitchen, dining room and living room re-design. The dining room was closed off from the kitchen, the living room was very dark and was dominated by lots of dark brick, and the kitchen itself had the original oak cabinets and an ineffective layout. They wanted a very sleek look, and good flow between the rooms. We started by opening up the wall between the dining room and kitchen and getting the refrigerator out of the way of the opening. In the kitchen area, we used Ultracraft frameless cabinetry with clean lines and minimalistic details to maximize storage and provide the look they were going for using maple with a melted brie with brown linen glaze finish. Framing floor to ceiling pantry cabinets with hutches on either side on the wall across from the windows provided storage and made the space flow from the living room to the dining room. New windows that climbed from the Fantasy Brown Leathered Quartzite countertop all the way to the ceiling provided tons of natural light to the space. To further simplify the design, we ran the sheetrock right to the windows without a casing, creating a nice, clean look above the countertop material we used as a windowsill. Full height Estrella Silver backsplash over the cooktop added just the right pop. By resurfacing the old brick fireplace with Golden Sand tile, replacing the hearth with a solid slab of slate, adding windows and built in cabinets on either side of the fireplace, and installing a large French door leading out to the three season room, we brightened up the living room and tied it into the kitchen itself. Creating a recess in the new fireplace for a wide screen TV created a logical furniture placement that made the space as useful as it is attractive. Wide plank, rustic oak flooring throughout the space offset the cabinets beautifully and added to the continuity of the space overall. The clients are thrilled with the look and flow of their new space.

Located in the Houston Heights, the Waverly Residence is a modern home on an established street of two story homes boasting front porch typologies. The family’s desire for privacy resulted in a porch that rotates to internalize most of its function while still addressing the street. For this active family, yard activity and it’s visibility from within the home emerged as a priority for approaching the building’s relationship to the lot. Justifying the building mass to the Northern half of the site reinforces the scale of the design to the surrounding buildings and creates a large southern yard dedicated to play and brisket (is a Texas house a house without a barbeque?). The ground floor is clad in metal panel and a wood rainscreen that peels away from the structure to become both a fence and an entry threshold, blending the registration between the yard's privacy enclosure and the building skin. Variable width fiber-cement siding clads the second floor as a nod to the neighborhood vernacular. The pool and outdoor kitchen sit at the center of the yard, forming an island that divides the open play from private vehicular access at the alley. Shifted volumes delineate private space from the open public areas. The second floor extends over the public entryway to create a covered procession with cascading steps into the southern yard that traverses the length of the living spaces. The public program expands beyond the building enclosure to encompass the yard and living spaces. A horizontal shift in the ground floor volume produces both a private courtyard away from the lively public spaces and exterior delineation between private vehicular access and public entry. Within the open, ground floor plan, a change in elevation indicates the boundary between private and public space. Custom millwork provides ample storage for the young family. Playful patterns of enclosed storage with contrasting display boxes creates a cohesive millwork language throughout the home.

This industrial liquor cabinet has been constructed in all steel and could be used as a centerpiece for your next party! This piece, like all of our furniture, can be built in any dimensions and customized in nearly any way imaginable. This one is 46.5” W x 18” D x 41” H.
