This tiny bathroom had a major renovation, we ripped out the built in fiberglass tub and added tile to the walls, and a claw foot tub. There was also originally a corner sink, we ripped that out and replaced with a vanity with storage beneath.

The corner tub and builder grade shower were removed to create 7 foot wide, 4 foot deep curbless shower. The 12X24 Villa Medici porcelain tile was stacked vertically. The larger allowed for 2 shower heads, 6 body jets, a hand held and a rain shower all in Brilliance Stainless Steel, Delta Dryden. Three niches were added for ample storage. Glazzio's Magical Forest glass tile in Snow Palace was used for as the accent tile.

It all started with an unwelcome surprise for these homeowners: stray Lego down the shower drain. Without any other reasonable way to access second-story plumbing, the fiberglass shower had to be removed to make repairs. At that point, the owners figured they might as well take advantage of the opportunity to update their bathroom.

The corner soaking tub was removed to create an extra wide shower. The Buddha and the tree add sense of calm to the space while referencing the inspiration for the remodel

Living room that has a difficult layout, I added one single piece of furniture in the space so it feels streamlined. Pillows with texture and minimal colors creates interest and serenity in the space. The brick was previously a bright color, we painted it white and sanded down the mantle to reveal the warm wood underneath.

This mountain vacation residence places the living and sleeping space for a family of three on the main level with guest bedrooms, recreation rooms, and garage below. The sloped site allows approach and entry on the main level, achieving the appearance of a one-story house. The scheme is an L-shaped, open-plan building containing primary living space covered with a shed roof. This configuration forms a “courtyard” facing southeast, which contains the main entry. Intersected with the shed roof component the mudroom, bedroom, and master closet and bath are contained in “cabins” of stone with arced roofs. The roof support at the northwest corner has been eliminated to allow a sliding glass system which, when open, voids the corner of the family room. This allows the living space to extend onto an elevated concrete terrace overlooking the view.
The result is a living environment that distinguishes public from private uses with form and space, provides outdoor areas of contrasting characteristics in a place of sharp seasonal contrast, and creates an image that blends with the landscape.
