Welcome to your new favorite spot in the house! With this showpiece Custom Wine Cellar, why would you ever have a party anywhere else? Complete with an adjacent room with a large tasting table and space to entertain, this homeowner thought of it all!
This unique Custom wine room in a gorgeous neighborhood in the La Jolla and Del Mar region in sunny San Diego, California is an art piece in itself surrounded by even more art pieces.
The Wine Room Construction entailed unique custom fitted racking, tiering down from about ten feet on one end of the room to just below eight feet on the other. Producing high quality wine racking for a cellar like this is no easy feat, but that is exactly what the wine cellar builders and team at vintage cellars do best!
The glass front and custom wine cellar door, highlighted with metal framing in an interesting checkered pattern throughout, also posed a unique challenge within this wine cellar space. Glass walls, although absolutely stunning, can reduce the cooling capabilities within the wine room itself- simply due to the non insulating properties of glass. Whenever glass is utilized within a custom wine cellar, we always make sure to install dual paned thermal insulated glass.
Within the wine cellar itself, The racking is made of all heart redwood with a clear finish, with single deep individual bottle storage above a high reveal display row and double deep bottle storage below.
The amount of custom and unique features in this gorgeous custom wine cellar in La Jolla are almost too numerous to count! Take a closer peek and you will notice that the walls are covered with a custom redwood paneling with custom moldings throughout. The interestingly shaped island also has room for large format bottle storage and a small chilled wine refrigerator specifically for whites ready to be served. Diamond bins are also in a hidden back corner not pictured.
Custom wine cellar with a glass fronts have become fixtures in gorgeous homes throughout California. Some areas we notice them often include San Diego, Rancho Santa Fe, Corona Del Mar, Del Mar, La Jolla, Newport Beach, Newport Coast, Huntington Beach, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Orange County, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Bel Air, Los Angeles, Encinitas, Cardiff, Coronado, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, San Marino, Ladera Heights, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Westwood, Hancock Park, Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove, Laguna Niguel, Torrey Pines, Thousand Oaks, Coto De Caza, Coronado Island, San Francisco, Danville, Walnut Creek, Marin, Tiburon, Hillsborough, Berkeley, Oakland, Napa, Sonoma, Agoura Hills, Hollywood Hills, Laurel Canyon, Sausalito, Mill Valley, San Rafael, Piedmont, Paso Robles, Carmel, or Pebble Beach

Our recent project was for a couple who wanted new fitted wardrobes tailored to their needs.
Created by Mike Hughes and expertly installed by our own professional team, the design features a full run of wardrobes with a cleverly hidden dressing table tucked behind closed doors.
An old built-in cupboard above the stairwell was opened up and transformed into a dedicated dressing table area, complete with lighting and sockets. We installed pocket doors so the wardrobe doors could slide back neatly, remaining unobtrusive when in use. When closed, the space returns to a calm, organised bedroom setting.
Each wardrobe was designed internally to suit their individual dressing styles. One specific request from the male client was to have space for a TV beside his side of the bed, which we incorporated into the wardrobe run with an open section and a chest below.
This beautifully smart bedroom was personalised to their exact requirements using Daval Bedroom Furniture, and finished with matching bedside chests.

The homeowners purchased this 6,000 square foot Mount Vernon home as they were about to retire. While spacious, it was in desperate need of renovating. High on their list of goals for the project was having a large, contemporary master bathroom.
To get extra space for the new bathroom, the designer borrowed some space from an existing closet. Eliminating the tub—the owners preferred a larger shower—also provided some “added” space.
The new bathroom consists of a very large walk-in shower with double entry, built-in benches, multiple shower heads and a dramatic curved glass block partition wall. His and her vanities have been created for each client’s individual needs. Marble and tile used on the floors and walls features very specific handpicked glass tile inserts & designs.
The use of colorful marble counter tops and open vanity cabinetry is part of contemporary look of this project. A mixture of hand selected commode and faucets, rain showers, beveled mirrors, and custom lighting are all part of the detailed craftsmanship that went into this project.

Modern Citi Group recently completed this remarkable condo renovation project in Jersey City, tailored to meet the distinct tastes of a homeowner seeking a space that exudes feminine charm and personalized elegance.
This full renovation included a complete overhaul of the look of this home, incorporating the client's very specific desires. Our design team worked closely with the client to ensure the alignment of vision and brought to life the dreams of the client.
Every renovation project starts with the planning phase led by the project planners. At the at-home visit, Anna captured a 360 tour of the apartment to get accurate measurements and fast-track the project. As the project progressed, the client was able to keep track of costs and enjoy simulations on her client dashboard. The planning process went smoothly, and the client was very happy with the results.
To achieve this feminine look, bespoke light fixtures and carefully selected wallpaper were installed to create a refined ambiance. Going above and beyond, the project also incorporated cutting-edge technology, including a smart toilet and bidet. Every inch of space in the home reflects the client's exact desires and taste.
This comprehensive endeavor focused on transforming the residence, encompassing a full-scale renovation of the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The team refinished the floors, ceilings and walls - integrating elements that resonated with the homeowner's vision for a space that harmoniously blends femininity, class, and timeless elegance.
The end result is a meticulously crafted home that not only reflects the homeowner's individual style but also stands as a testament to Modern Citi Group's commitment to delivering sophisticated and personalized living spaces.

Our newest customizable organic mattress is the Zenspring. Made with 8" of recycled pocketed coils, and one 3" layer of natural latex, the Zenspring is designed to be both comfortable and durable. We wanted to create an organic mattress option that was more affordable without sacrificing the benefits of customization. Like our Serenity and Tranquility mattresses, the Zenspring allows you to choose between Soft, Medium, and Firm layers of Dunlop and Talalay latex.
What sets this mattress apart though is the choice between Plush and Firm pocketed coil units. Split pocketed coils in Queen, King and CA King allow you and your partner to have individual configurations, catering to your specific needs. The Zenspring is covered in our certified organic mattress casing, with organic cotton and organic wool batting, a natural flame barrier that promotes a cool sleep.

Inspired by the client’s frequent trips to Martha’s Vineyard, this renovation project’s primary goal was to create a landscape complimentary of this Colonial Revival style home, reminiscent of Edgartown, Massachusetts.
The front landscape was specifically designed to offer expansive views of a layered horizontal foundation planting that nestled itself around the base of the home, allowing the home itself to be the star of the show. Flowering borders that rotate with the seasons create a strong foreground while a clipped yew hedge forms the barrier needed to separate the billowing panicle hydrangeas in the background. The axial design of the herringbone front walk, punctuated by a bluestone transitional space and formal cast limestone urn, create an axis by which all other landscape elements are symmetrically mirrored.
Desiring a rear entertainment space separated from the adjacent 4 car garage and recreational lawn, a series of intimate gathering spaces were designed to include Edgartown inspired architectural features that would establish the character of the garden while setting the backdrop for a robust mix of perennials, grasses, hedges and annuals. Mimicking the pattern and detail previously established on the stone base of the home, individually hand chiseled pieces of Valders veneer were used to construct the garden walls. Reclaimed street pavers border a reconfigured bluestone patio and create a garden walk that separates the garden into 4 equal quadrants; each section of the walk connecting itself to a prominent feature of the garden. The central paver transition space is backed by a concentric hedge of low growing boxwoods, delineating annual and perennial. The relocation of an arbor, in conjunction with a new evergreen hedge, creates the desired partition between relaxed conversation and open lawn activities. A brick masonry water feature with reclaimed 1916 antique cast iron tub anchors the garden and terminates the perennial adorned paver walk opposite the home’s fireplace centered within the main seating area.
Whether spending an evening with friends or a quiet moment alone, this quaint garden space offers our clients the perfect ambiance to pause and reflect on life’s special treasures.

When a potential customer takes that first glimpse at a storefront, an initial impression is being formed and expectations are being set. Our work brings the added value that businesses require in order to showcase their products and increase their sales. The striking designs, that we are known for, are specifically created not only to be aesthetically pleasing, but to lure shoppers into your place of business.
Many individual business owners are unaware of the fact that creating the design that a potential customer sees from the street is an exact science when displaying products and constructing an eye catching visual presentation. We also understand that each business that we work with is unique when it comes to the way potential customers perceive that store. If a storefronts appearance is not constructed correctly, a potential customer may immediately dismiss that particular store as “unprofessional” or worse, they might not even register the presence of that store at all when it just blends into the background!
This is the main reason why we pride ourselves so highly on the work that we do for our clients. The professionals at our company understand the complex guidelines that dictate what attracts buyers with a perfect visual approach to a particular design. But, of course, the quality will also need to be superior so that fading and overall deterioration of that design will not become a detriment to the goals of a business owner. This is why we utilize only the best materials and exact construction standards that will allow a store owner’s exterior presentation to be visually pleasing to the eye for years to come.
Whether you need our assistance just to keep your store front from closing improperly or more extensive construction, we’re here to help you with all your business needs when it comes to the visual perception of your store.

the furniture pieces are not necessarily in a contemporary coastal style. they appear to have a more eclectic and bohemian feel, with a mix of vintage and modern elements. The furniture pieces feature warm wood tones, curved and organic shapes, and a variety of textures, such as velvet, leather, and woven materials. The color palette is mostly neutral, with a focus on warm browns, tans, and beige tones, with pops of black and brass accents.
While there is no specific name for this style, it can be described as a mix of mid-century modern, bohemian, and eclectic elements. It creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere with an emphasis on comfort and individuality.

Lockridge real thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill creates a beautiful exterior entryway. Lockridge is a quintessential grey-toned dimensional real stone veneer. From a distance the stones appear to be a solid and singular color, however, upon closer inspection one can see the unique veining. Some pieces have solid horizontal lines running through the stone, whereas, others have a more speckled appearance. Every individual piece has its own character, a quality that can only be achieved with natural stone. Lockridge has sawn heights of 2.25”, 5” and 7.75” and is cut specifically for a half-inch mortar joint. Larger heights are available upon request depending on the scale of the project.
