This midcentury split level needed an entire gut renovation to bring it into the current century. Keeping the design simple and modern, we updated every inch of this house, inside and out, holding true to era appropriate touches.

Conceptually the Clark Street remodel began with an idea of creating a new entry. The existing home foyer was non-existent and cramped with the back of the stair abutting the front door. By defining an exterior point of entry and creating a radius interior stair, the home instantly opens up and becomes more inviting. From there, further connections to the exterior were made through large sliding doors and a redesigned exterior deck. We widened the staircase and used a mixture of DuraSeal coffee brown and spice brown stain color for banisters and treads, Benjamin Moore Cloud white paint color for trims and risers.

The wall was cut out to create an open view from the railing. The stairs lead to the first floor of the home.
