Inspiration for a timeless split-level wood brown patio remodel in San Francisco with no cover and a fireplace

Designed around the sunset downtown views from the living room with open-concept living, the split-level layout provides gracious spaces for entertaining, and privacy for family members to pursue distinct pursuits.

This Glenview, IL Split-Level Style Home was remodeled by Siding & Windows Group with James HardiePlank Select Cedarmill Lap Siding and HardieTrim Smooth Boards in ColorPlus Technology Color Arctic White. Also re-did White Columns and installed Fypon Shutters in Black.

This midcentury split level needed an entire gut renovation to bring it into the current century. Keeping the design simple and modern, we updated every inch of this house, inside and out, holding true to era appropriate touches.

A stunning close-up of the custom-built fireplace surround and integrated media wall in this Arlington Heights split-level den renovation. To maximize functionality and style, our team designed handcrafted white custom bookshelves that frame a sleek, modern fireplace insert beautifully accented by a premium marble surround and hearth. Just above, a bespoke mantle adds architectural depth, while the lower walls feature custom beadboard paneling that seamlessly wraps the room for a cohesive, timeless look. This custom millwork turns the lower-level living space into a warm, sophisticated destination for family gatherings.

The dated kitchen plus both small main and master bathrooms were remodeled. The scope also included the living and dining rooms, plus the front entry and stairwell.

This entry renovation worked entirely within the existing structure of the house. The closet opposite the front door was removed to create more depth physically and visually. Most of the work was done with interior finishes and custom built-ins.
