The Quarry Mill's Lockridge natural thin stone veneer creates a stately appearance on the exterior of this residential home. Lockridge is a quintessential grey-toned dimensional real stone veneer. From a distance the stones appear to be a solid and singular color, however, upon closer inspection one can see the unique veining. Some pieces have solid horizontal lines running through the stone, whereas, others have a more speckled appearance. Every individual piece has its own character, a quality that can only be achieved with natural stone. Lockridge has sawn heights of 2.25”, 5” and 7.75” and is cut specifically for a half-inch mortar joint. Larger heights are available upon request depending on the scale of the project.

Autumn Ridge natural thin stone veneer is known for its deep rich range of earth tones. The real stone incorporates greys, golds, gunmetals, and dark earthy browns. The range of colors allows flexibility and versatility when incorporating other types of siding. Autumn ridge brings a rustic feel in its natural state but can be more formal with field trimming. Field trimming is the sawing and cutting by the mason on-site to square up the pieces and make them more uniform. The extent to which the mason field trims depends on the desired finished look. As shown in the blend photo, the mason did extra field trimming to square up the pieces of Autumn Ridge.

The Quarry Mill's Smokey Gold natural low height ledgestone thin stone veneer creates stunning and stately pillars and wainscoting on this home's front entrance. Smokey Gold real stone veneer is a natural low height ledgestone. The stone itself is a natural quartzite and the thin veneer is cut from the edges of the sheets of stone as they are quarried. The process of sawing the raw stone into natural thin veneer turns the diamond blade bright red due to heat that is generated and the density of the natural quartzite. Smokey gold is predominantly gold but also showcases some grey and white pieces giving it a subtle range of color. The textures are mainly smooth with some rippling. Although all of our natural stone veneers are high density, low water absorption, and approved for use in all climates, Smokey Gold is exceptionally hard and sturdy.

Pioneer mosaic real thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill looks fantastic as wainscoting on the exterior of this building. Pioneer is a natural hand-picked fieldstone that is sawed into thin stone veneer. The stone has neutral and pleasing earth tones with a soft and natural texture. Pioneer showcases the fieldstone in its completely natural state with irregular shapes. Some fieldstones are split with a hydraulic press to form ashlar, ledgestone, or castle rock style stones, whereas, Pioneer is unaltered and forms a mosaic style. Pioneer is subject to greater variation due to being a fieldstone product. This variation adds character and beauty to the unique look of Pioneer. The individual pieces give flexibility to the mason over the final appearance as the stone can be laid in a more linear fashion if desired.
