A multi-level patio allows you to create different outdoor living spaces while maintaining a beautiful flow from one space to the next. This particular design features a combination of bluestone and flagstone, a redwood pergola, hot tub and fire pit.

Z.O. Landscaping Location: Short Hills, NJ, USA This was a complete landscape design and install. In the backyard we create a large blue stone patio area that included a gas fire pit. We enclosed the area with 2 custom stone walls, Planting beds were designed around patio to enhance the area. In the front of the house a new blue stone walkway was install and new plantings in front beds. Along the side of the driveway large evergreens were removed and new plantings installed. Landscape lighting was added to complete the project. Backyard patio renovation including dry laid blue stone patio, 2 stone sitting walls with matching stone gas fire pit. Planting around patio and new lawn help complete the project.

We installed a large travertine pavers area around the fire pit for this homeowner in Gilbert, AZ. Travertine pavers are perfect for the Arizona climate. Unlike brick or other types of pavers, they remain cool underfoot. They are also non-slip, which is a benefit for entertaining areas. This is a large entertaining area. The light tan pavers contrast nicely with the brown of the brick wall and the turf's green.

This charming pathway leads to a private seating wall and fire pit. It is the perfect design for a space that would otherwise not have much function. The beautiful stone gives the space gorgeous texture and the darker brick pavers provide a beautiful contrast.

We installed a fire pit, patio with seating area, and decorative rock for the owners of this Ashland Ranch, AZ home. The owners chose shades of brown for both the patio pavers and decorative rock. We constructed the fire pit and seating area from a lighter-colored stone. The whole area has a very earth-based feel. The growing greenery will add more contrast once it has matured and break the earth tones up.
