Patio - mid-sized contemporary backyard patio idea in Orange County with a fire pit

This photo of a firepit and seating installation taken at twilight showcases how effective this type of installation can be. The owners of this San Tan Valley, AZ home chose to have subtle lighting installed in the seating area. This adds another mood to the installation as well as providing an additional light source. The structure is a strong contrast to the pale-colored pavers

This project in Morrison Ranch, Gilbert, AZ, comprises an Alumawood pergola, firepit, pavers, and decorative lighting. The installation of all these features has created an all-encompassing outdoor entertainment area for the homeowners. The brown and tan pavers work well with the earth tones of the firepit. The outdoor dining area coupled with the lighting means that the homeowner can enjoy meals outdoors when the sun goes down. After dinner, family and guests can relax around the firepit.

The creamy white of both the pavers and firepit in this Eastmark, AZ home contrast nicely with the natural surroundings. The patio looks bright, thanks to the tan-colored brick wall. The gray outdoor furniture also helps to both highlight the pavers and firepit while adding a nice contrast.

You could almost believe that this firepit and seating area installed in Mesa, AZ is part of Ancient Rome or Greece. It has a strong sense of antiquity about it. We achieved this through the pale and mottled colors of both the pavers and the top of the seating area, and the firepit. This installation feels like it has been here for a very long time.

This gorgeous open porch design is brought to life with low-maintenance TimberTech Terrain decking in Silver Maple, which beautifully complements the home’s exterior finish! The steps are matching TimberTech product with riser lights. The railing is also a low-maintenance vinyl and powder coated aluminum combined with a TimberTech top rail, which will have this family enjoying their space – not performing yearly maintenance! The substantial stacked stone columns are the shining stars of this covered porch design in beautiful muted grey and brown tones. We provided matching roofing and siding on the exterior of the gable, so the new porch appears an original extension of the home – not an afterthought.

We installed a fire pit and pavers at this home in the Gateway Quarter, AZ. This close-up photo shows you that design isn’t just about look. It also needs to incorporate texture too. You can see how the slabs of stone and rock in the firepit don’t sit flush; they jut out at different lengths to provide a very tactile look. The pavers are a nice contrast to the intense colors of the firepit.

We installed a fire pit, outdoor dining area, and expansive pavers for the owners of this Eastmark, AZ home. The owners chose white for all three installations. The houses’ other natural features, such as the brown brick wall, the decorative stones, and the pale yellow of the home’s exterior, all work together to add contrast and ensure that the white of the installation never looks pale or washed out.
