“Non-toxic cool cabinets” In our first conversation with this client her first words were “We’re Building a non-toxic house. Cool non-toxic cabinets are hard to come by. I’m glad I found you!” This set the tone for the project. Working closely with our client and her designer we designed and built: A beautiful and functional kitchen which is the center of the grand room looking out at the spectacular view of the mountains. Cabinets for the laundry room complete with laundry basket pull-outs 3 full bathrooms including vanities and linen closets along with built-in medicine cabinets Night-tables and dressers for the master bedroom and their daughter’s bedroom TV console This house was built bottom to top with non-toxic materials and it is stunning! The amazing view from all the windows in this home makes it even more special. Congratulations, we’re so proud to have been a part of this!

Functionally, extensive storage was needed to keep this space organized and tidy with a large desk for our client to work on. Aesthetically, we wanted this office to feel peaceful and light to soothe a stressed mind. The result is a soft and feminine, yet highly organized study to encourage focus and a state of serenity.

The perfect place to lean in for a good conversation with friends or swivel around to watch the big game on the big screen in the lounge behind you, this basement bar is a true tribute to rustic design and nostalgia. A candy dispenser, lots of exposed shelf space, and a wide, varnished wood counter gives you plenty of space to keep the treats you love handy and on display. Seating for 6-8 creates a welcoming environment, but the wine cellar nearby will have everyone up and out of their seats in no time, admiring the integrated wine barrels and old-world charm.

A Sand Ceremony is a symbol of the union of two individuals, their unique strength, vulnerabilities, histories and families. This sand ceremony box, named Homok Sabbia, was a very special wedding gift for a Hungarian woman and her Italian fiancé. It represents the uniting of their origins, cultures and languages as they combined sand (Homok) from her home garden in Hungary and sand (Sabbia) from the seaside in Italy, during their wedding ceremony. The most beautiful and striking section of the heart wood was selected to create the box; an area with a grain structure that radiated up and out from the bottom, similar to a bouquet of vibrant flowers. The base was created with the natural edge of the walnut sap wood, or new growth, which has a different color and grain structure than the heart wood, the oldest growth. While cut from the same slap of Claro walnut, the two different sections, the base and the box, have their own unique beauty and striking features. The richness of the dark wood and intricate grain patterns were balanced with the addition of pure and striking white Carrara marble from Italy. The central marble heart was hand cut, sanded, polished and then secured in the heart shaped space that had been gently carved out of the glass front. A marble vein was inserted in the base and the narrow lid was also carved out of marble to harmoniously bring the whole piece together. When it arrived in Hungary, the bride to-be wrote us ““It’s sooooo beautiful! Perfect! I’m so happy, I like it more than I imagined!”
