The “handrill” of Corten steel follows the peastone and steel steps down a steep slope to pour into a round basin, emptying into a channel that meanders through the narrow back garden at ground level, ending finally in a boulder fountain. Devised to minimize root disturbance for the tall existing pines on the property, the continuous Corten steel structure is supported by concrete tubes rather than a foundation that would have required extensive excavation. Interior of the Teracottage "Fancy That" Potting Shed. This unit comes with a fully finished interior of reclaimed barn wood. Since the structure has an English theme, I set the pattern of the wall boards in the same way as a skilled stone mason would build a proper English stacked stone wall. Spanish themed project in Calabasas. Remodel of the rear and side yards. The overhead structure and circular bar areas were existing and maintained while we added the pool, fire pit, built-in seating, deck, side yard entertaining area and made improvements and additions to the overhead. The project has terra-cotta style concrete pavers as well as Spanish style ceramic tiles throughout.
