The decision to keep the original cabinet boxes meant simply replacing the cabinet drawers and drawer fronts for a refreshing transformation. The porcelain tile floor has the unmistakable look of brick without the struggle to keep it clean. New appliances, stylish range hood, and a new cabinet box for the refrigerator. A custom island located in the original dining nook satisfies the client's number one request, providing a place to drink wine and make cookies.

The back garden was conceived as a spiritual meditation garden. It's laid out as three interlocking ellipses, each raised 6" from the previous. The links speak to life struggles, and ascent to a higher spiritual plateau. Perennials with warmer colors are sited around the first link, with flowers eventually turned to a pure white and royal purples and blues in the last and highest link. There's also a walking path around the perimeter of this garden.

As pet lovers ourselves, we understand the struggle of functional durability and style for your home. With Fido in mind, we have storm doors with built-in pet doors.
Not only do they let in the natural light to enhance your entry way, but they are built tough enough to stand up to your active pets.
Additionally, pet friendly goes beyond a pet door built-in. Pets love our full glass doors so they can bask in the sun and watch outside.

Fun, eclectic, and dramatic dining room refresh with a couple struggling to combine their styles into one space. African masks from Ghana and a grandfather clock from England where the only two items that were orginally owned by the clients and both fit into the space wonderfully!

When we arrived at this kitchen in Solebury it was dated and closed in. A center peninsula divided the space and a wall at the end separated a tiny dining room. We completely redesigned the layout by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room and adding a window to gain some natural light.
The homeowners loved the rich cranberry color but struggled to integrate it without overwhelming the space with red. The window treatments and floor to ceiling pantry gave us the perfect opportunity to accent the color palette throughout the room. Some open shelving and a chair rail along the top of the backsplash allow for decoration and keep the counters clutter free.
This quickly became one of our favorite kitchen renovations simply because of the dramatic changes we were able to make.

Accessorizing is a service offered to clients by Christie. This is an area where most clients feel they know what they want, but end up struggling greatly. Clients can provide a reasonable accessory budget to Christie, and she can purchase, set and stage everything in place. Accessories do not have to be elaborate or expensive either. If a client wants to scale back, Christie has no problem doing so. For example, this small round bench table came from Target for under $40.

This drawer was struggling with ill-fitting bamboo organizers that not only wasted space but also clashed with the sleek kitchen design. The mismatched sections and awkward layout made it hard to keep everything in place or find what you needed. A functional and stylish upgrade was overdue!
