The stairs leading to the bottom floor. The stairs were designed and built by Mark's Lumber of Clancy, MT and were installed by Dan Harrigfeld. The custom welded ties for securing the railing to the stairs were fabricated by a high school student from Townsend High School as part of a shop class assignment. The steel was leftover from the exterior custom awnings (fabricated by Mark Pelletier). Most materials of this home were carefully selected to be either recycled or sustainable/long-lasting.The inclusion of this student into the construction of this home really illustrates how the Crimson Bluffs Home was a community project. Like it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to build a house! The owners of this stunning home in Verona WI wanted to update the kitchen area to feel more connected to the living and dining rooms. James Dresser the original architect of this home, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, had created interesting lines and beautiful windows focusing the view. We wanted to update the kitchen and dining room in keeping with this original intent. A Friendly Flock Touches Down The inspiration for the mosaic murals in Frieda Garcia Park in Boston came from children’s artwork. I held art classes with children from the community at Ellis Memorial and United South End Settlements. The young students created beautiful prints, drawings and collages of birds that I used to populate the magical landscapes for the park. The final design was translated into a glass mosaic by Unicorn Art Studio.

Designed in 1914 by Wilder and White, Architects, of New York City, the original owner of this property was Dr. William Englesby. In 1956 the house was willed to the University of Vermont. It served as a dormitory for twenty-seven women students until the new president of UVM, John Fey, arrived in 1958 and the university remodeled the house to serve as his residence. It has since been occupied by succeeding UVM presidents. This was an intriguing space to design due to the rarity of such a large garden in the city. We installed a front walk with a ramp from pavers and custom cut bluestone. We carried this look to the back of the house by installing a paver patio with bluestone inlay along with some steps. Colorful plantings completed the area and gave it an elegant feel.

The front parking area establishes a sense of arrival and room for the Tai Chi students to park, leading directly to the outer garden path. Here marks the beginning of the Song Ranch journey.

This large custom mobile was created for a newly renovated building at Oregon State University, this mobile includes 16 freely rotating polish copper rings. Each ring is inscribed with inspirational quotes, curated by OSU students. It hangs 36 feet tall by 7 feet wide.

2008, 2011, 2012, and 2019 S. 9th were completed by Oak Campus Builders in 2015. Each of these properties features 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
