Klopf Architecture, Arterra Landscape Architects, and Flegels Construction updated a classic Eichler open, indoor-outdoor home. Expanding on the original walls of glass and connection to nature that is common in mid-century modern homes. The completely openable walls allow the homeowners to truly open up the living space of the house, transforming it into an open air pavilion, extending the living area outdoors to the private side yards, and taking maximum advantage of indoor-outdoor living opportunities. Taking the concept of borrowed landscape from traditional Japanese architecture, the fountain, concrete bench wall, and natural landscaping bound the indoor-outdoor space. The Truly Open Eichler is a remodeled single-family house in Palo Alto. This 1,712 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

This is a Murano glass panel inspired by ancient symbology and engraved on a silver leaf.
The incisions on the silver leaf are fused together with the typical red glass sheet.
Ideogrammi is the typical instinctive handmade decoration of our glass masters, showing the incredible and suggestive power of the colors contrast.
The effect of the carvings is even stronger and intense through the black brush strikes, just like the artist would have used a carving tool instead of a brush in his painting.
Each panel has full customization options in terms of dimensions and colors. With this versatility, we can offer modular solutions for indoor decoration such as wall or surface coverings or for backlighting systems.

This Sentinel Totem is glazed in similar glazes to its counterpart, however reflects the cooler tones of the shino glaze. This sculpture stands about 6.5ft tall and is also secured to a standard 2ft x 2ft basalt base stone for stability.
Both pieces are of a classic Damien Jones design where both textures and glazing expresses the order and chaos in life itself.

This transitional timber frame home features a wrap-around porch designed to take advantage of its lakeside setting and mountain views. Natural stone, including river rock, granite and Tennessee field stone, is combined with wavy edge siding and a cedar shingle roof to marry the exterior of the home with it surroundings. Casually elegant interiors flow into generous outdoor living spaces that highlight natural materials and create a connection between the indoors and outdoors.

City: the twists of precious aventurine glass with thin pipes that create a sophisticated geometric design.
In this sculpture, the streaked aventurine glass plate is combined with three basic colors: red, brown and black. The colors are artfully blended in order to achieve these irregular streaks and to give a dynamic look to the object.
The streaked aventurine plates are also available in the following colours: sky-blue, blue, green, red, purple, periwinkle. These colours can be obtained with a blending solution or using aventurine glass only.
The following pictures show how the thin black pipe creates a sort of labyrinth.

This panel is very precious because it is created with the aventurine glass technique. This glittering glass effect is the central focus but this decoration includes inserts of Murrinas, filigree and reticello pipes. Moreover, inside the aventurine center, there is a very refined decoration, typical from the area of Murano, called zanfirico. In this case we wanted to maintain the natural irregularities of the glass panel, without altering its perimeter and edges. The result is a sort of flame or precious red glass vein.

Glass painting with a Venice view. The work was created through several layers of glass with silver or golden hand carved leaves, which give the image a three-dimensional effect.
The choice of gold and silver reminds of the essential prestige of Venice and its art. The typical Venetian byzantine style is evoked by this painting, which is embellished by the carved decoration.
