Our clients wanted a REAL master bathroom with enough space for both of them to be in there at the same time. Their house, built in the 1940’s, still had plenty of the original charm, but also had plenty of its original tiny spaces that just aren’t very functional for modern life. The original bathroom had a tiny stall shower, and just a single vanity with very limited storage and counter space. Not to mention kitschy pink subway tile on every wall. With some creative reconfiguring, we were able to reclaim about 25 square feet of space from the bedroom. Which gave us the space we needed to introduce a double vanity with plenty of storage, and a HUGE walk-in shower that spans the entire length of the new bathroom! While we knew we needed to stay true to the original character of the house, we also wanted to bring in some modern flair! Pairing strong graphic floor tile with some subtle (and not so subtle) green tones gave us the perfect blend of classic sophistication with a modern glow up. Our clients were thrilled with the look of their new space, and were even happier about how large and open it now feels!

Inspiration for a contemporary home office remodel in Orange County

This elegant formal dining room features a sophisticated design with subtle blue wallpaper that adds a calming yet refined touch. The centerpiece is a sleek, modern chandelier that illuminates the dark wood dining table and upholstered chairs, which are adorned with delicate floral patterns. A round mirror above the sideboard reflects light, enhancing the room's airy feel. The space combines classic elements, such as crown molding and neutral tones, with contemporary features, creating a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity. The overall ambiance is both inviting and luxurious, perfect for formal gatherings.

Water features take on many shapes and sizes. This particular feature offers a subtle sound and ambient light. Each material is carefully selected to create the effects of the water feature.

Our team began the master bedroom design by anchoring the room with a dramatic but simple black canopy bed. The next layer was a neutral but textured area rug with a herringbone "zig zag" design that we repeated again in our throw pillows and nightstands. The light wood of the nightstands and woven window shades added subtle contrast and texture. Two seating areas provide ample comfort throughout the bedroom with a small sofa at the end of the bed and comfortable swivel chairs in front of the window. The long simple drapes are anchored by a simple black rod that repeats the black iron element of the canopy bed. The dresser is also black, which carries this color around the room. A black iron chandelier with wooden beads echoes the casually elegant design, while layers of cream bedding and a textural throw complete the design.

This modern farmhouse–style master bathroom became a bright, airy retreat defined by bold black metal fixtures, a warm wood vanity, and soft neutral tones. Subtle white tile keeps the space calm and refined while balancing the striking contrasts, turning a once-generic development bathroom into a serene, one-of-a-kind master escape that blends rustic charm with modern sophistication.
