Designer Brittany Hutt transformed a bland poolside area into an outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, fridge, and seating space. Stainless steel cabinetry provides plenty of storage and looks aesthetically pleasing with the sleek outdoor appliances. Impero Stone Tile in the color Arles was used on the front and inside of the bar.

Kitchen/dining room combo - small coastal dark wood floor kitchen/dining room combo idea in Jacksonville with yellow walls and no fireplace

Our clients needed a welcoming retreat for visiting family and friends—sometimes for extended stays—as well as a hub for poolside living. We designed a pool house that functions beautifully as a guest cottage, offering all the comforts of home. With a pizza oven and high-end grill in the open-air kitchen, it’s ready for everything from summer parties to quiet weekend getaways.

In this home, we moved the kitchen to an adjoining room with a better view of the backyard and the pool. Our clients wanted a bright white space and a large center island. We incorporated a coffee bar off to one side and a beautiful herringbone pattern in the subway tile backsplash.
