This south and west facing kitchen has spectacular sweeping views from Central Park to Columbus Circle. An eleven foot long island accommodates a microwave oven drawer and two supplementary refrigerator drawers as well as seating for three. The 6 burner Wolf range is supplemented with a convenient wall oven and steam oven. The white perimeter cabinets with white Glassos counters harmonize with the light gray island topped with Calacatta marble. The Mosaic House Nejarine tile backsplash unifies the subtle color variations.

The expansive new kitchen is a dramatic change from the original galley room. The clients wanted a modern design, an island for food prep and more storage. The 42-inch high island is actually bar height, but suits the tall homeowners. The island has cabinet storage, open shelves, a large expanse of quartz countertop, and room for two stools. A line of cabinets with the kitchen sink fit under two smaller windows. A tall fixed window is on the right. A slim Runtal radiator on the side of the kitchen cabinetry (next to the tall window) provides supplementary heat when needed.

This custom designed pool cabana is the perfect addition to any poolside and acts as a perfect supplementary structure when hosting parties or for having company over. Within the structure is an outdoor living room with a fireplace, built-in shelving and a tray ceiling, a changing room, and an outdoor bar with stools, storage, and a refrigerator.

The double-height foyer & staircase with supplementary shed dormer allows for ample natural light to pierce into the foyer creating a grand entry feeling. The height also allows for the introduction of a decorative light fixture to act as the center piece.

A side-by-side washer and dryer left room for counter space and supplementary storage. The same porcelain floor tile and black granite from the kitchen were used to keep the two spaces cohesive.

The design features efficient and generous storage solutions. A custom drawer was implemented to provide convenient paper towel access and supplementary roll storage, eliminating countertop clutter. Essential appliances specified were a La Cornue handcrafted range, column refrigerator and freezer, microwave drawer, wine cooler, and dishwasher drawers. The inclusion of a skylight, complemented by layered lighting, ensures optimal illumination for all tasks.

Installation of movable utility cabinets and placement of supplementary household items for improved access and reduced clutter.

Keeping the existing footprint of this North Oaks master bath we gave it a much-needed upgrade to improve the function of the shower, upgrade plumbing fixtures and increase the rooms storage.
We took part of the room down to the studs to improve insulation and rewire parts of the room. Because this room was always cold we expanded an existing multi-aqua heat exchange system to provide in-floor heat and an additional thermostatic controlled unit to provide supplementary heat when needed.
I used 12” X 24” porcelain tiles for the floor and shower walls, a stone veneer feature wall behind the tub, shower and toilet wall with a glass/stone/metal mixed mosaic for the backsplash and shower accent. Cambria Bellingham was used on the vanity and tub deck tops and large glass panels were used to create the shower enclosure and define the tub and toilet areas giving the room a bright and open feel. The client chose fabric inserts for the closet doors instead of the louver style doors originally specified for the project.
I switched the locations of the shower and toilet to double the shower size. I also designed custom cherry cabinets and installed two 48” x 27” Roburn uplift cabinets more than doubling the room’s storage space. The make-up area at the far end of the room includes a lift-top in the center section that includes a large mirror on the underside of the top and abundant organized storage for beauty supplies and jewelry.
