Everlast Siding & Composite Deck Project, Hopedale, MA
Full strip of worn and rotted wood siding and trim. Exterior of house wrapped with “Rain Drop” housewrap. All windows and doors sealed with weather protective tape. Inside and outside corners to be CertainTeed. Window & door casements replaced with PVC brickmold. Everlast composite siding in Slate color installed.
Also installed a new 20 x 30’ deck with Trex Composite decking and railings.
What Is Everlast Siding?
Everlast Advanced Composite Siding is water resistant and impermeable to wood-boring insects. Guaranteed. You will never have to replace damaged boards or trim due to weather/insect damage like you would other materials. Moreover, thanks to Everlast’s advanced composite technology, your siding will never swell, bow, rot, expand, or contract – maintaining your home’s beautiful exterior, for life.
The face of Everlast planks are made from a highly durable and fade-resistant acrylic layer that is chemically bonded to a color-coordinated substrate. Because the cap and substrate are similar in color, should the face ever become scratched or dented, thereby revealing the substrate, these imperfections are less visible. Lastly, each Everlast plank is embossed with the imprint of a plank of real cedar, making Everlast Advanced Composite Siding the most natural looking, UV-resistant product in the market.

John knew it was time for a change, his outdated master bathroom with an uninspired color scheme did little to invoke a sense of relaxation or style. The lackluster ambiance was far from the relaxing experience he and his wife desired.
His aim was clear: to infuse the master bathroom with modern lines and a fresh, bright aesthetic. Our design team worked closely with him to select materials and fixtures that would bring his vision to life.
The new painted white shaker style cabinets and Fairy White Quartz countertops brought a fresh and clean look to the vanity area. The Delta Kayra faucets give a contemporary flair that is aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically satisfying.
The Kohler Verdera mirrors are more than just reflective surfaces; they provide smart storage solutions that enhanced the functionality of the space.
The old shower made way for the sleek, custom-built shower, lined with stunning Flash White ceramic tiles. The Themar Statuario Hex Mesh on the floor and the shimmering Swell Glass in the niche added layers of texture and modernity.
As the crown jewel the Kohler Sunward Collection soaking tub was thoughtfully installed with a tiled front tub deck, complemented by the same Quartz used for the vanity countertop, marrying consistency and luxury in design.

Home to the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, the Sagamore Hill National Historic Site is undergoing a three-year, $7.2 million rehabilitation project, including upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems and lighting, as well as restoration of historic windows, doors, siding and porches to historic preservation standards.
Often referred to as the “Summer White House,” where President Roosevelt would host VIPs from the U.S. and the world during his presidency, the Queen Anne-style home has undergone a patchwork of renovation projects over the years. The current rehabilitation is aimed at avoiding ongoing smaller scale site work in the future.
For replacement of the impressive wraparound porch, the National Park Service (NPS) selected Accoya wood, a Cradle to Cradle-certified material that is durable and stable, and is guaranteed against rot and decay for 50 years in exterior use. In addition, Accoya does not shrink or swell, making it an ideal material for a variety of exterior applications. “In caring for such an important property, we needed to ensure that we used the highest quality, environmentally friendly products that were sympathetic to the environment,” said Susan Sarna, museum curator for the NPS. “In addition, given the negative impact that renovation works have on visitor experience, we wanted to use a product that would allow us to reduce ongoing maintenance at the site.”

CA fam ?—ever heard of the “10 Biggest Renovation Regrets”? #7 is a total trap that’s wrecked 90% of folks I know. My bestie just texted crying: her new kitchen walls are moldy, floors are buckling, and she’s out $30K fixing it.
Let’s be real: stop believing “CA is too dry for moisture control”. Especially if you’re in SF (fog city) or LA (rainy Nov-Mar)—painting walls with regular paint is basically rolling out a red carpet for mold. My neighbor’s walls last year? Peeling like a bad sunburn, and her oven grew mold (gross, I know).
Here’s the fix:
❶ Walls: Moisture-blocking primer + anti-mold paint (Sherwin-Williams’ “MoldBlock” is CA mom-approved).
❷ Floors: Water-resistant composite wood (skip cheap solid wood—it swells when humidity hits).
❸ Wet areas (kitchen/bath): Mini dehumidifier (Amazon “CA dehumidifier” under $100 saves your walls!).
No one wants renovation regrets, but dodging this? Saves you 30% in repair cash. Let’s enjoy CA sun and fog—without mold crashing the party. ?️

Simonton Windows are not only beautiful in any home but they are also very energy efficient due to the premium vinyl in all the windows and doors.
They also use a spacer system that helps seal the entire window, to create space for argon gases as well as to reduce temperature transfer.
The windows in this home are double hung storm breakers with a white finish.

This house was only 1,100 SF with 2 bedrooms and one bath. In this project we added 600SF making it 4+3 and remodeled the entire house. The house now has amazing polished concrete floors, modern kitchen with a huge island and many contemporary features all throughout.
