Let's Talk ColorThe warm tones of the wood, the granite and the travertine backsplash, lead to the choice of the old gold light fixtures. Colors are carried through from the gold tones in the dining room, the teals in the living room and the stainless steel appliances are accentuated by the giant silver pear in the corner
Let's Talk ColorReplaced carpet with hardwood floors. Used exsisting furniture, lamps. New ( cat friendly) duvet cover. Pulled the colors from the rug upwards. Had rollershades installed but the curtains were store bought. ( $$) Added 2 pictures above bed that repeated colors in the rug . Trim painted white. Used exsisting ceiling fan but replaced dated yellow bulbs with DayLight bulbs on dimmer
Let's Talk ColorNew tiles installed on balcony /patio area and walls repainted with a green-gray . Balcony is facing south west and is very hot in the afternoons, so a cool green seemed like a better choice as opposed to enhancing the yellow or orange in the tile. Tile colors was chosen to stay with the character with the rest of the house.
Let's Talk ColorCabinets painted with a fresh, creamy warm white color to reduce the orange look it had previously, especially against the orange-colored back splash. Gorgeous match against the lime stone surrounding the stove

Let's Talk ColorMedia Room. Girls wanted a sophisticated, but still "young and fun" room. They leaned towards blue, not gray or warm colors such as red, orange or even something like a charcoal or black. We used some of their existing furniture pieces, ordered Theater seats and added some personal pizzazz to it. Still waiting for the movie reels
